Could work on bedside manner. Comes into the room and first 2 things out if mouth are you have stage 4 cancer and better get things in order. My head was reeling. Was not allowed to bring spouse into room because of covid. Two months later, I tried to schedule an appt and was given a date a month away. I might not live a month. The doctor might well be a fine doctor, but found bluntness off putting and not being able to schedule an appt within a month, when terminal is outrageous

I was a Patient of Dr. Narayan from 20122015. Her positive comment to me when leaving my first appointment was: Well get you through this, dont worry. (Another physician had performed the lumpectomy.) What followed was an extensive period of tests, study, and development of the protocol. Since I have a positive her tu neu (sp?) factor, she then started me on 18 weeks of chemo, to be followed by xray. With her blessing we returned to Washington State our home for that and further treatment with a local oncologist. This Tacoma oncologist, who is ranked one of the best in WA State, completely agreed with the care I had received and proceeded with the same treatment she had laid out. I appreciated Dr. Narayans manner, communication and care. She got me through it. PGP, Tacoma, WA

Dr. Narayan was my mothers oncologist and she is my hemotologist. Dr. Narayan is extremely bright. She is direct and to the point. She kept my mother alive for a long time and she discovered a blood disorder I have. Living a good life. Thanks Dr. Narayan Love her.
