Being my first colonoscopy, I was a little freaked out. The information provided ahead of time and the explanations from the staff at the time of my appointment helped set me at ease. I had read horror stories about the taste of the laxative. I was prescribed Suprep, and it tasted like a cherry Halls. I still drank it ice cold through a big straw, but it was not terrible. Next, line up some activities you can do on the toilet, because you’ll be spending some quality time there. For the procedure, you’re out so you won’t feel a thing. Just wake up, have your ride pick you up, and take it easy the rest of the day.
