Beware of the Arrowhead facility. I've had 2 appointments there this week and still haven't actually received a scheduled MRI. The first appointment was canceled by them without any notification. In fact, 90 minutes before the appointment I received both an email and text reminder. I showed up 20 mins only to be told I didn't have an appointment. They couldn't fit me in and couldn't tell me who canceled or why. They finally said it was an insurance issue and I needed to call for authorization. I phoned my insurance company and was told no authorization was necessary- they were mistaken. Back to scheduling to try to get in. The made an appointment for me at 4:45 that afternoon. I showed up 15 mins early and checked in. I waited and waited and waited some more. At 5:45 (an hour after my scheduled appointment) I asked the receptionist how much longer and she said a few more mins. They did indeed come get me in a few mins. Got me set up in the machine - after about 10 mins in the machine they pulled me out saying they were having technical issues. A few mins later they said they would need to reschedule. It shouldn't be this hard to get medical treatment.
Where do I begin?!!! First, I am a radiologist trying to facilitate simply getting a CD burned for a patient to have picked up in time for an invasive procedure tomorrow morning. The physician needs to see images to plan the procedure. A report will not suffice. I've spoken with 7 people at corporate, and once, at the actual imaging center in Mesa. With the exception of one call (Kylie at corporate) , every call ended up being disconnected (no call back or entry in medical record to reference) or routed to horrendous dead end automated phone system. Multiple lines at the Mesa office have gone unanswered for 45 minutes, even when attempted by wonderful Kylie at corporate. She even messaged Mesa and asked someone to call me, to no avail. If I ran my radiology practice like SimonMed, I'd be out of business.Without any question, this is the worst customer service I've encountered anywhere. Even worse than Bank of America and Best Buy!!I will definitely have Cigna reconsider contracting with SimonMed. I see why their employees only rate them 2.8 on Glassdoor, despite website stating 98% patient satisfaction. I've worked for a Glassdoor 2.8 employer, and it is not pretty. I sympathize and hope they can find an employer who treats them better.Low cost providers are low cost for a reason.
Caring ultrasound tech
I was very impressed with with the waiting time and how quickly the procedure took.
they don't take appts for x-rays. i've waited an hour or longer in one of their offices to get one. this sucks. this is unfair to patients.
Awesome staff from front desk to all the techs, super kind and helpful!!
First, they entered an address on file for me that I never gave or ever lived. Due to this, I never received a bill. This is now the 3rd adjustment being made to my account leaving a balance after I paid off the balance the rep assured me was the correct amount due. You all need to take several math courses.Edit: Escalation rep on the phone stated they never received my last payment. But the payment is posted to my credit card. She also told me about the last payment that was applied to my account that I never made. lol. Not going to waste anymore time here. I just filed a credit card fraud claim with Goldman Sachs. Sure you all will figure it out then.If you get a referral here, request to go somewhere else.
I had an appointment at 8:00 am and received a text at 6:31 stating my appointment was at 8:00. After arriving at 7:45 I was told they no longer take appointments only walk in's. As of right now there are 9 people in the office all with appointments that are no good. I do have another Dr appointment this morning and looks like I will have to cancel it because my appointment was no good. Hope to find another business for the next time.
Not a very good experience with the visit about a year ago (late 2020). Yelp needs a "zero stars" rating to choose from. There was an :insurance issue: and Simon Med left a voicemail on my home phone the morning of the appt when we had already left the house to head over there for my husband's appt. Though the front office representative was both kind and professional, we arrived and were met with the "insurance issue" and after 30 minutes of me back and forth on the phone with their insurance biller as well as my own insurance dept, the insurance "issue" was resolved. Mind you, my insurance had zero idea why Simon Med was trying to collect from me at the window when they (my insurance) had already authorized approval to do this exam.My husband now goes back now late and is met with a snippy MRI assistant, likely because he is going back at noon and my guess is, on her lunch break that she is not able to take just yet. She continues questioning my husband re: the reason for his exam and that it has "nothing to do with his back injury". He continues politely debating this tart in a "doo rag" repeating that he has a pair of foot long titanium rods in his lower back and when he gets up from a supine position, he needs to roll onto his left side and push himself uprite using his right arm. It's this repetitive motion several times day for years is now causing significant pain in his shoulder. Her reply continued "but that has nothing to do with your back injury" ... can anyone say moron? And who is she to challenge any patient's reason for having an exam or any Doctor's reason for ordering an exam? He finally was able to speak with the MRI technologist and explained once again, the reason he is having this exam... that no, he did not injure his shoulder when he ruptured 3 discs in his back that resulted in a failed back surgery, but the shoulder pain is a result of the way he has to get up because of his back disability. The "doo rag" stood there with her smug mug and finally walked away in a huff. How shameful to make a patient feel uncomfortable re their disability .. to have to defend it and the reason for an exam because some dope in a doo rag is too uneducated and inexperienced to connect the dots. Debating a Doctor's reason for ordering an exam? Really? And re: Covid compliance: Not a person that entered the lobby had their temperature manually taken and documented. They were simply asked "no cough, fever or temperature"? No one did any sanitizing either. Patients sat in their chairs and when they left, the chair was not wiped down, nor the counter tops that every patient touched or leaned on or the clip boards that each patient is given to fill out paperwork. This site was not that busy that these tasks could not be done.
Walked in for general x-ray, registered sat for about 10 minutes had xray, was done in no time ,very Happy compared to years back..

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
