I just had 2 procedures-Parathyroid and Thyroidectomy-Dr Wcislak explained in laymans terms exactly what to expect-caring and compassionate throughout,from the consult to post op-The care she gave me helped get through this challenging time-She checked with me the day prior to the procedure and then frequently to make sure I was healing properly-I highly suggest Dr Wcislak for surgery involving any type of Thyroid issues!

With the uncertainty and fear that comes with any surgery and diagnosis, I and my wife are beyond Grateful for finding Dr. Wcislak! She performed a thyroidectomy with ease and essentially no scaring. No doubt Dr. Wcislak is an amazing physician and a highly knowledgeable & skilled surgeon, she is truly a better person! What an impact she will continue to make for so many people suffering with thyroid issues or cancer. Dr Susan Wcislak is simply awesome!! I had a complete thyroidectomy done recently and Dr Wcislak has been caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and a true blessing all along, answering all my questions to my complete satisfaction. The scar is minimal, the follow-ups are smooth and the office staff is very responsive also. To say that I highly recommend her would be an understatement.

I had a complete thyroidectomy done by Dr Wcislak. From start to finish it went perfectly. I haven't felt this good in two and a half years. So glad I was referred to her by my endocrinologist. It is now six weeks post surgery and the scar is barely visible. Believe me I was scared to have it done so glad I did. If you need help with thyroid issues call Dr. Wcislak office. You will be so happy you did.

I had parathyroid surgery with Dr. Wcislak in early 2022. I am so happy with my choice of her as my surgeon. I am a healthcare professional so choosing the right surgeon was important to me. I interviewed several before choosing Dr. Wcislak. She was so personable, knowledgeable and I felt comfortable under her care. She gave me a choice in healthsystem for the actual surgery; she works with them all. The surgery went so smoothly and I have no visible scar, which was an added benefit in my opinion.

I was very happy with Dr. Wcislak, she explained what was going to happen during my surgery. Everything went well and I have fully recovered.

I had parathyroid surgery and was concerned and told her so. At our first meeting she took about an hour and slowly reassured me and answered any questions and no pressure at all. We talked about our dogs, etc. She made me feel comfortable. She has great training but at med school they don't teach people skills which are so important. At surgery she was also reassuring. She called to check on me, too. Besides great training she is what all doctors should be----caring about the patient and not treat us as another surgery. Highly recommend her.
