Dr. Young-Fadok performed my colectomy with J-pouch surgery, and she and the staff did a great job, including supporting me through some complications I experienced. The Mayo clinic team was very attentive and top notch professionals.

Same experience as the above post. Dr Fadok performed a total colectomy with a ‘j-pouch’ ileoanal anastomsis on our 16 year old daughter after fighting UC for 5 years. She is now 31 with two kids and no meds. Total life changer. I haven’t had the opportunity to thank her lately, so I hope she sees this.

Dr. Young-Fadon literally saved my life. I suffered from several ulcerative colitis which I had no control over. After several years of intense treatment I decided to have a total collectomy. Dr. Fandom was amazing. She explained the process and what I can expect. After the removal of my entire large intestine, I was able to have two more children and am healthy and well - no medications. I couldn’t be anymore happier. I would adopt her as my second mom if I could. She’s amazing.

Dr. Young-Fadok is an amazing doctor. She clearly understood my health status even before my appointment. In my appointment, she not only recommended the best procedure and referred me to the best doctor for the procedure but also arranged my appointment with the doctor in front of me. It was one of the best customer services in my life. Because of her, I could get the best treatment. Thank you, Dr. Young-Fadok.

66 year old male diagnosed with colon cancer. Called Dr. Fadok because of her outstanding reputation. I had an appointment to see her in three days, and I was scheduled for surgery in ten days. Her lathroscopic technique had me back on the golf course in two weeks. That says it all except you must go to Mayo and see how blessed we are in AZ to have such a wonderful medical facility!

Very pleasant at first, but exceeded consent and pre-surgical discussion of what was to be done; did planned consented procedure then another whole procedure that contributed to complications. multiple complications passed off to residents and fellows. Ended up not knowing what to do; sent me home in bad shape. Did not request help from colleagues as to what to do when I requested her to do so. Was not her only patient there at the time with serious unrecognized post-op problems. Starts to write patients up as "obsessive" if recovery does not go well and she does not know how to deal with the complication. Serious disregard for resultant nutritional deficiency.

Dr.Young-Fadok preformed my colon surgery almost 10 years ago. I think of her often and have the so much respect for her as an individual and surgeon! Doctors like her are few and far between
