List of Torre Rhoades's Reviews
I give him zero, when it comes to bedside manner! I was accompanying my husband when we went to get the result of his biopsy. Dr. Rhoad walked in and completely blocked me out of his sight; he didn’t even look at me to exchange greetings. He told my husband he had an aggressive kind of cancer, and the next step was to have a pet scan and walked out of the office. I should mention that from the time my husband had his biopsy, we had waited 2 weeks to get the result. He said, he will send the order to the Arizona Center for Cancer Care and in 24 to 48 hours they will call us to schedule for scan. We waited one week and didn’t hear from anybody, so we called the center and told them we have been waiting to hearing from them for scheduling . We were informed that they had not received any order from the doctor’s office yet! When we called the center it was on a Friday, they said they will call the doctor’s office to expedite. By the time they received the order was Monday and we were scheduled following Thursday. On Thursday the tech who performed the scan on my husband told him, on that very same day doctor will receive the results. We waited till following Tuesday, and we didn’t hear from the doctor, so I tried to call him. I kid you not, it took me one hour and forty minutes to get through! When I told the person about my long wait to get through, in a very rude manner she said: What do you want me to do, we are short staff!! When I told her the reason for my call, she responded: You have to wait for your next appointment with the doctor to get the result. I told her our appt. Is 12 days down the road, and we are anxious to get the results, and in another cold and uncaring manner she responded: There is nothing I can do and hung up! At that point of anger and frustration, it didn’t take me any time to switch my husband’s file to City of Hope which in 48 hours they did much more than what Dr. Rhoad had done for us in 10 weeks. I have no idea how good or bad Dr. Rhoad is in his field of practice, but when it comes to bedside manner, the telephone system in his office, and his staff, he gets “Zero” from me!
THIS OFFICE WAS A DISASTER, SCHEDULED AT 1045 APPOINTMENT AT 1135 I WAS STILL THERE WITH A FULL BLADDER AND AND MISTREATED.SHAKEING AND..UNCOMFORTABLE
Dr. Rhoades and his staff were fantastic and I highly recommend them. My surgery went well and happy with the results.
Kind, caring, knowledgeable and thorough. An excellent choice! I’m grateful to have found him.
I only gave him one star because It wont let me rate him with 0 or negative stars. I had the urolift procedure done a year ago and it was a nightmare from the beginning, he told me it was going to cause me to have discomfort peeing for a while after which i understood, instead I wake up with a catheter in me. after this it got worse the catheter bag was supposed to be large enough to sleep a few hours with it and you were supposed to change regularly to the larger bag, except they never gave me the larger one to switch to and told me I should have got that before i left the hospital and now its too late. Consequently I then developed the inevitable UTI infection that got worse and worse when I called his office I was told they couldn't possibly work me in for at least three weeks and if its important (I had now a temp. of 101.5 and told them that) I should take care of it myself, real nice and compassionate (NOT). Run quickly away from this cash register doctor he couldnt care less about his patients hes ONLY interested in charging your insurance for the procedure and lining up another patient to cut on for the money and if it causes infections or complications you're on you're own cause you'll only be mistaking him for someone who cares. Also the operation made my prostate worse not better and have had the UTI infection back twice since then as well.
mY EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT AND AM GOING BACK
Dr. Rhoades literally saved my life. I was flown to Abrazo Hospital from Winslow, AZ and that is where I met Dr. Rhoades with a very serious stone and blocked kidney issue. A few weeks later he surgically removed a very large stone and tomorrow I see him to take out my stints. He is extremely professional and kind. If I ever have this issue again I will definitely see him only! I feel he gave me top notch care and I highly recommend him.
Office is poorly run. Next to impossible to socially distance in the waiting room. It is packed with too many people. The staff doesn't listen to patients and don't make the right decisions about making appointments. Nor do they pay attention when patients give them relevant information. The doctor is good but you need competent people to provide overall level of care.
This office has very serious problems with communication and professionalism. I have left messages for a medication i need to have preathourized because the generic wont work. I have left several messages for Tabathia but she isnt answering or even calling me back. I am getting ready to turn them into the medical board for not doing their job!!!! This place is terrible and needs to be shutdown and will im sure if they dont change the level of service they give their patients!!!! You are in the business to help people so why cant you do that????
I cannot in good conscience recommend this Dr. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for treatment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
