They get the 2nd star because the food was delicious. This place is tricky, some guy who looked like Spock from Star Trek was working for them as a cover to evaluate patients.
I've had issues for a long time: substances, psychological and finally recognizing my psychiatric dilemmas. Consistently destroying and rebuilding my life over five decades seemed insurmountable this time. The staff and my fellow program participants have proven to be invaluable in helping me tackle this journey. Although having finished the program is commendable, it would not have been possible without the consistent and caring help of people like our outpatient coordinator Felicia and my group counselor Roland. There are so many names on the inpatient side that would be difficult to name them all. One person that woke me off of that ledge a few times was Amir. Thank you brother. Recovery resources are made available. It was up to me to use them. I recommend Valley Hospital for anyone starting or continuing on the recovery journey. - Dave A
Great place to recover.
Friendly and caring staff.
Hands Down the BEST Behavioral Health Hospital and IOP Services in Arizona. I Could Use an Entire Page Just Naming Staff That Deserve Recognition but I Have to Mention IOP Staff Felicia and Ashley as They Have Been Extremely Instrumental in Helping Me Continue My Care after Impatient Discharge. Everyone From BHTs, Nurses, Therapists and Psychiatrists Truly Care About the Patients and Go Out of Their Way to Set Us Up for Success.
Horrible hospital. Don’t go there is a waste of time, when you get out , you will need to go to other hospital, they didn’t help me they sent me home dizzy and throwing up more sick then when I went in
The nurses seem to be on something they are always high
I recently have had experience with Valley Hospital. Having had experience in the past with facilities similar to Valley I can undoubtedly say that Valley Hospital surpassed all of them. My interaction with Valley Hospital was a life-changing experience. Their personnel, Derek, Lawrence, and Nurse Jose are just a few of many who were kind and compassionate and made this time successful for me. Nurse Jose always took his time to make sure I had all of my proper medication. In the outpatient program, the facilitators provided the same excellent treatment that I received in 1 North. I thought Dora was one of the best therapists I have encountered in my many years working with facilities such as Valley Hospital. Her ability to take time to personalize her curriculum was off the charts. She had a very positive effect on my recovery, by making it simple, straightforward, and easy for me to take in. Mary, at the front desk, was informative and very welcoming. Nosar was always there to help. The quality of care, concern, and ability to provide the path to success are unmatched.
It was horrible experience and some of the staff are so rude and mean ..had to listen to Racist rants from some of the people on the floor and they food is gross and shower had shower curtains with mold on them ..just overwhelming place if you have anxiety..don't cheek into this place ..but I would Like to say Connie and both Nicole's were so sweet nurse and I enjoy them on the floor .but the rest staff could care less cause the gossip about the patient or talk what they did before coming to work .that so unprofessional especially at your work place ..I was seeking help didn't expect my experience to be this way ...I would not recommend it to anyone ..rude place and all they do is make excuses when you try talk to patient advocated ...but mr.clifford the van driver he was so nice and deserve more pay .very amazing man he does his job well.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
