Dr. Davila is an EXCELLENT surgeon who provided meticulous care for my husband. Upon the first time we met him, he exhibited patience in answering all our questions and provided sound wisdom concerning what procedures would be necessary to care for his problems. (He needed a carotid endarterectomy). My husband underwent the surgery resulting in an excellent outcome. We were impressed with Dr. Davila who showed up twice more after my husband's surgery to follow up on his progress. Dr. Davila was thorough in his methods of surgery and care and we were VERY BLESSED to have been treated by him.

I was treated by Dr Davila at Mayo in Scottsdale. What a great guy and great doctor. Before seeing Doctor Davila two other docs used a “conservative “ approach to treat/mistreat a wicked wound with a massive infection that was rotting my flesh. Doctor Davila assessed my wound, and suggested a course of treatment with a few options. I went with the most immediate action including an in the office surgical procedure rather than waiting for an operating suite. He quickly cut out the rotting flesh, and removed a huge amount of pus, infection, ‘nasty stuff.’ It was ugly, the odour disgusting, and I was screaming, yet Dr Davila didn’t flinch, he got it done, dressed the wound and had me admitted to the hospital for IV antibiotics. I am VERY grateful to Dr Davila. He saved me from an amputation.

I have had multiple complications and four additional hospital visits since his vascular surgical assistance of my frontal spinal surgery. Due to a Nick in the left iliac vein During his portion of the surgery, I had a very swollen left leg. I’ve had hematomas, blood transfusions and cellulitis. He passed off the signs of the swollen leg and cellulitis symptoms as normal items that would clear up and said to come back in six months. Fortunately, I had some other doctors who discovered these dangerous symptoms and I am currently seeing a vein specialist to evaluate the reason for swelling of the left leg and repair it. I felt like Dr. Davila did not want to be bothered with me once the surgery was completed and was not interested in solving the problems that the surgery had created
