Victir Zannis, is one of the Best Surgeons for Breast Cancer, he sit down with you and explains type of Breast Cancer you have makes you feel so good. 20 years ago had Lumptectomy . I moved to S. Of Tucson got reacurrance this time Double Mesectomy, had it down in Tucson, AZ. was not happy with that surgeon, I should of went back to Victor Zannis would of been better. I'm a 30 year old high risk breast cancer patient. After finding a large lump I was referred to Dr. Zanis for surgery due to it not looking so pretty. Although there is a bit of a wait time when meeting him, it was totally worth it. Dr. Zannis answered all of my questions and reassured me that it will all go well. He went above and beyond and even found another suspicious lump that was in need of looking into. The surgery went well and Dr. Zannis checked on me a few days later by personally calling me. I've not ever had such a caring doctor and wish there were more doctors like Dr. Zanis.

Dr. Zannis was very informative and communicative throughout the whole process from discovery through surgery and the follow on treatments. He made himself available at any time, day or night. His style is one of compassion but sincerity in discussing options and what to expect but provided you with all you needed to make informed and confident decisions. I could not ask for a better physician and human for your healthcare needs.

Dr. Zannis has been such a kind and competent surgeon/breast cancer coach to both myself and my family. He seems to truly cares about his patients and took so much extra time to address my concerns with a cancer diagnosis, making me immediately feel confident that I was in excellent hands. I have never had a more comfortable surgery experience (very good pain control post-op, and minimal scarring). He is also well versed on the most recent breast cancer research/guidance and is well known across the nation as being a leading breast cancer surgeon. If you are lucky enough to get him as a surgeon, I am sure you will be as pleased as I was!

I was recommended to Dr. Zannis by my oncologist and have been pleasantly surprised to say that I have felt that I had the best care that I could have thought of. The doctor, staff and treatment in his office prior to my surgery during and after has been exceptional. I would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone having to deal with breast cancer and breast issues. The doctor is very caring and treats the patient like his own family. He makes sure that you feel comfortable and cared for and is always available to answer questions that you may have. I do recommend him for anyone who is apprehensive.

Was highly recommended to Dr. Victor Zannis' office by my Primary Care Doctor after finding a lump in my breast on a monthly self exam. Was confirmed through a mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy. First impressions are the person who answers the phone...When I called into their office and spoke with Kim asking about "self pay," and to schedule an appointment. Kim told me Dr. Zannis won't take "self pay" patients, and referred me to a different doctors office. I asked Kim why, and she replied that Dr. Zannis feels a "self pay" patient won't do what is necessary for their treatment. I asked Kim if it would be okay if I let my Primary Care Doctor's office know about this conversation, and Kim said, "absolutely." Called my Primary Care Doctor and let them know the conversation, and they said they would not be referring his office any longer. IF you are diagnosed with Breast Cancer, please know it is a long haul. YOU are your best advocate. At this office I didn't even get past the person answering the phone. Thankfully I went to Ironwood Cancer & Research Center who welcomed me with open arms. Had a partial mastectomy, and am on my way to recovery with 6.5 weeks of radiation. Don't know if Dr. Zannis will ever see this review, yet the FIRST impression is the person answering your phone. Never had the pleasure of meeting you, or your team.
