List of Vikram Kumar's Reviews
He operated on my herniated l4-l5 disc. He did a great job explaining what he was going to do and what to expect in the way of post op experience/healing time.. But what I truly appreciated was he did not give me any false hope. So far I'm pain free and aside from my left foot's toes being a bit numb I'm back to my normal self. Considering how much pain I was in prior to the surgery I could not ask for anything more. Thank you!!
I cannot praise Dr. Kumar enough for the excellent care he gave this 82 yr old lady! After breaking my C1 & C2 vertebrae, I recovered with only a slight limitation in my side movement of my neck. I understand this is a near miracle considering my age and the “hangman’s break” to my neck! Thank you Dr. Kumar! I constantly sing your praises!

Having known severe pain for the last several years, Dr. Kumar's surgical expertise has alleviated all my sciatic pain. He is extremely knowledgeable, takes time to answer any and all questions, and has a super-efficient front office. You only get one back, so your choice of a neurosurgeon is paramount! Dr. Kumar is the one and only doctor I will trust with the care of my back!!
After waiting 2 months I drove 3 hours to see this specialist and was extremely disappointed with his curtness and his lack of bedside manner. He was rude with a cocky demeanor. He rushed me through the appointment. When he asked me a question, he didn't allow me to answer the question and interrupted me and was annoyed with my answer and even told me to get to the point when talking about my medical history. By this point I had enough of this arrogant asshole and I told him so. He then told this 62 year old man to "get out punk." I would avoid using Dr Vikram Anand Kumar as he is not kind or sympathetic to the elderly and patients that are in pain.
Dr Kumar expertly revised my diagnostic images before my consult. Dr Kumar was friendly and kind. He was to the point regarding my visit and anxious to share possible interventions. I felt I could trust him.
Dr Kumar and all of his staff has been so good with me. I have spinal stenosis and Myelopathy. I wasn't doing very well when I went in for my first visit with him. He spent his time doing test and explaining things as he went along. I ended up needing anterior cervical discectomies with arthrodesis and plating on 3 of my disc. I was able to get in and have my surgery done within a week and a half after seeing him. My surgery took over 3 hours and afterwards he went out and spoke with my husband, he explained everything to him and answered his questions as well. It's been 2 weeks now and I just had my follow up appointment today. Dr Kumar had an emergency surgery this morning so he wasn't in the office. However I agreed to see one of the other nurse practitioners in the office. Even though they were running a little behind in their appointments Dr Kumar arrived at the office about halfway through my appointment and came in to my room and didn't rush. He took his time to once again answer all my questions and to be sure I was doing good. I would definitely recommend Dr Kumar if you need a Neuro Surgeon. If I should need any more surgies I won't see anyone else but him.
Rude, waited well over an hour while he chatted with another patient, then gave us 8 minutes. Wouldn’t go back, ever.
Excellent surgeon immediate improvement great results !!!
Great doctor, I recommend it.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
