Western Dental & Orthodontics's Online Review Report Card

Western Dental is absolutely pathetic! Zero respect for people's time. It took me 45 minutes to even schedule an appointment with this office. Then when I get here, they explained to me that only the 35th Ave. office can care for my particular needs of Invisalign. I was dished off to them by another pathetic company, Perfect Teeth, who I will never ever recommend. 3 1/2 years for my Invisalign treatment. What a joke!

Katelyn ..and Dr Mauer..and his dental people put on my crown s wrong..they were bashing me the whole time I was getting my crown fixed and I had to go to a nother western dental on Indian school they did nothing but start a fight with me and stold my mpney

I’m putting one stars on both my accounts because they are no good.. please hear all the one star reviews they are horrible.. No friendly people.. they don’t follow up either.. It’s super hard to get a hold of them.. No one there doesn’t explain or can’t give u a good explanation about what your looking for.. If you are getting your wisdom teeth out or a big procedure there sedation is very light and you will feel everything and be awake they don’t do sedation where you are asleep.. I got an IV put in and I have a bruise from it.. Seems like the Dentist ain’t that experience and his really not there so you will wait long to get a procedure done go somewhere they are most likely to get in sooner.. my worst experience ever won’t go here for sure..

I just got my wisdom removed and it was the most horrible experience of my life. Since my insurance didn't cover for anesthesia I had to pay it out of pocket. But seems like they really didn't use it. They kept telling me multiple times I was getting sedated put to sleep. But I was awake the whole time.!! I felt the whole pain. I kept crying n yelling n they didn't care n kept scrapping out the tooths.. I felt being torture so bad. So if u plan on coming here to get them removed i would suggest not to. Ask around instead. Because it is not worth it at all. And now im stuck still paying for something I felt I didn't even get. And they act like they didn't have my pharmacy and now im stuck in a lot of pain. I would not come back here anymore for big procedure like this. Nope don't waste ur time or money. What a shame. Im so frustrated n mad at the fact I felt so much pain and they even told me I wasn't going to feel nothing but I did!!! Also, I guess they are appointment based only. And they keep their doors closed and it is hard to get a hold of them over the phone as well. It is frustrating with them. It is almost impossible to get a hold of them. Always closed. They ain't that helpful either. They dont do what u need them to do. I been in so much pain and they dont seem to care. Told them I need to speak to the doctor that performed my procedure but I doubt it They will let them know that. So it is hard to talk to someone directly in this clinic. I avoid at all cost!! Updates manager there is useless no one has looked into it. No one contacted me. I called but like always I waited almost all day to get a hold of them. They dont care how u feel n the manager there isn't helpful at all doesn't even know how to help. Doesn't know how to respond.. it's ridiculous.. Just please go somewhere else where they going to pay attention n care about how ur feeling never got a called to check on me or anything..

The office I went to closed up in the middle of the night with no forwarding contact info. It was located at 45th street/E. Thomas Road. I had a tooth extracted and was in so much pain afterward I tried to call to see the dentist. I have had extractions before without difficulty. There was no answer repeatedly so I drove there and found an empty building with fedex and ups notices of failed delivery. I made an appointment with a competent Dentist who described the work as a "traumatic extraction". Afterward I Western Dental for the money they took from me, and I was told repeatedly to "call back in two weeks". They would say a case has been opened, then it was closed, then "call in two weeks". It became clear after three or four times they had no intention to correct their theft. They represent the worst in business practices much less medical standards. If you can't trust them with your money why would you trust them with your teeth? I intend to publish this story as many times as possible in as many forums as possible to help others not suffer the same treatment.

Horrible company. When you call to get an appointment someone will answer from India and good luck to understand the accent. You give them all the info. they need including your insurance information and what you need to be done. I got the appointment and I went to that location and was in the middle of filling the forms that someone came to me and said that they don't take my insurance. She said our other location will take your insurance so, I drove to the other location and they also said they don't take my insurance. Almost 25 miles and two hours of time wasted for nothing. They could tell me all this crap at the time of scheduling.

They play in people’s faces . My appointment started late then followed by a more rude and aggressive female named “Y” . She called me “you” instead of my name and made sure I knew she was mad about it. She wanted to go to lunch but had to work . Next an even more tragic performance the hygienist poked one area in my mouth and just said I was getting a “gingivitis cleaning” for close to $500 , I said does that mean Perio? She never did the pocket depth because she had no assistant documented nothing . Then try to “ White Coat “ me with “ I’ve never been questioned in my 12 years “ . I said until today, I will have questions and you haven’t spoken to me before. As someone who dropped out of dental school years ago is what she didn’t know . What she didn’t know is I used to work for their competitors. So don’t ever play in someone’s face about ball . A curse is there now 👻 .

Not gonna lie, I was nervous to come here based on the reviews, but I was in excruciating pain from a cracked tooth & they took my insurance & got me in same day. The front staff was kind, the appointment time was as scheduled and the dentist was great (I wish I remember his name, but I was completely out of it from pain). I'm now left confused as to why the reviews are so low here because everything was seamless from beginning to end. It may not have the flashiest of offices, but that was the least of my concern with the pain I was in. Big thank you to everyone at Western Dental McDowell for quickly alleviating the excruciating pain I was in. Highly recommend.

Not friendly front desk staff ,non accommodating and they don't care to work with their customers. I'll go elsewhere I don't trust them touching my daughters teeth now anyways. Sayonara!
