I’ve been through the ups and downs with Southwest in Prescott Valley for the past eight years, and some of it, unfortunately, is pretty sad. If it wasn’t for my case manager, Annabelle, I would have been long gone. Thanks to her I’ve worked through being re-traumatized by various “counselors”, I am with the best provider, Rachel, who understands the complexities of CPTSD, BPD, ADD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and how growing up in a toxic, narcissistic, dysfunctional household can be severely disabling and less one to become paranoid and hyper vigilant, even question their own reality. With her help, I have gone from being over medicated to on my way to what I believe is “just right”. I am finally getting some DBT with Patrick, a therapist who actually cares how I’m doing and doesn’t get grossed out by my trauma. Nurse Katy and is phenomenal and went well out of her way to help me with my medications when there are pharmacy shortages. Meagan and Monica are amazing as well. Thank you Annabelle, for helping me to persevere and supporting me when no one else would. I’ve made progress due to your excellent skills. And thank you to my awesome, and excellent clinical team at Southwest in Prescott Valley. I never thought I’d say that about a mental health care provider in Arizona. 🙏
