List of Bradley Benson's Reviews
I was sent to Dr Benson because of severe pain in my lower back. He explained that he could do an nerve ablation on my back to help deaden the nerves and relieve the pain. It took several sessions with him to determine the right course of action. This Dr is very good with people, very easily understood and very patient with us. He really knows what he is talking about and how to fix it. This procedure helped ease my lower back pain and it lasts for 6 months or more. Now I see him about every 6-8 months to repeat the procedure. Each time he is friendly and helpful. His assistant P.A Abbott is fantastic and so helpful in explaining things.
I was a patient of Dr.Bensen's for about 4 years before moving out of state recently. He is very kind and knowledgeable. I would see him for nerve block injections for my occipital neuralgia. I recommend Dr. Bensen.
I am very lucky to have become a patient here. The staff is caring, considerate and friendly. When dealing with numerous spine issues your pain can get in the way of your life. Dr Benson, Kelly are skilled pros. I am in good hands.
Waste of time. My GP referred me. No one called so I called them. Got a recording stating I needed to come in and get new patient packet. I picked up packet and was told I would need to return in person. Brought it back and was told don't call us unless you don't hear from us. About 8 days later they called and gave me an appointment with a nurse. She suggested PT and a nerve conduction test. The PT was a waste of time... given 1 exercise that you had to be a contoursinist to get into. Nurses assistant called to give me results of nerve conduction test. She read it to me in medical terms. I said "I have no idea what all that means. She said neither do I. I asked what next she said go to PT which was the worst PT I'd ever been to. I never saw the doctor. Total waste of time and lots of money.
Our Physicians are so VERY busy in Yavapai County. I was impressed with Dr. Benson. He is serious, intelligent, a good listener, and an EXCELLENT Physician, in my book. So happy that Dr. Benson was recommended to me by my GP. I appreciate the kindness of the entire Staff at The Spine Center at YRMC!
Dr. Benson and the staff great. I highly recommend them !
I really like Dr. Benson. His staff are always pleasant toward me.
I waited for weeks just to receive a PEP injection for a painful knee injury. The plans were clearly discussed in advance, and a detailed MRI report was submitted to the office ahead of my scheduled appointment. Just one week before my visit I called to confirm the date, cost, and procedure. It wasn't until this call that I was informed that my visit would not include any actual treatment, but only a consultation, thus pushing back the treatment another month. Why bother treating my knee if the doubling of appointments is sucking the life out of me? I gave up on these money-grubbing people.
Very hard to deal with when trying just to make an appointment.
My husband went in to Dr. Benson's office after waiting three weeks for an appointment due to pain in his hip/buttocks. We saw Vickie who seemed very smart and got a nerve test from the tech. Dr. Benson put two nerve test needles in my but never touched me to find out what my problem was. I was ordered to go to a physical therapist who saw me but he made the pain worse. Paul continued to get worse and worse. I called 3 weeks after I saw Vickie and Dr. Benson and the P.T., with a plea for help as Paul now was in severe pain. We physically went to the office to show them that Paul now was using a cane and barely walking and was in severe pain. We asked for help from Vickie (two days before her vacation) or Dr. Benson. We were told "they both were too busy to help us" until our appointment 2 1/2 weeks from then. Benson was too busy for a month. These people have no compassion. I went on line and found Dr. Davis with Northern AZ. Orthopedic. Dr. Davis saw Paul the next day and was told it was his bursa/bursitis. Dr. Davis gave him 80 ml. steroid. Within 6 hours, Paul was not using a crutch and the next day although the hip was weak the pain was gone. I give Dr. Benson's office no stars as they totally failed their patient both in finding what the problem was and they are totally uncaring to their patient. I hope they learn something from this post. I called and talked with a medical assistant and told her why I was cancelling. There was no apology. I asked her if she would pass this on and she said that she would. Note, I was not allowed to post this unless I gave them one star! Strange???

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
