Judah Pifer's Online Review Report Card

He did my hip replacement surgery and my knee replacement surgery years after. I find him to be very experienced, very good at explaining things and really trustworthy. He really knows what he is doing and is good with people. I would recommend Dr Pifer to anyone needing replacements.

Did carpal tunnel on my right hand in November and now in late May it is MUCH worse than before the surgery.

I am convinced that, by the grace of God, Dr. Pifer saved my life when sepsis traveled throughout my body, eventually landing in my right knee. He performed emergency surgery that was very successful, put me on antibiotics for life, and now 3 years later, I am indeed alive, walking, and thanks to his expertise, continuing to enjoy a fulfilling life.

Just underwent Achilles tendon repair on 9/9/2020 by Dr Pifer. I work as a therapist and treat many of Dr Pifer's patients. His work is exceptional to see and now from personal experience as a patient I am very impressed and happy with my care. Compassionate bedside manor with upfront answers. Office staff are competent and caring. So grateful that we have them in Prescott. Looking forward to continued healing.

I had a very confusing issue with my feet with symptoms that didn't fit in one simple category. After getting nowhere with another Dr, I saw Dr. Pifer. Dr. Pifer listened to my difficult to diagnose problems and came up with steps to figure out what was wrong with my feet. It took four visits and several diagnostic tests to rule out what it could and could not be. Each visit he took the time to answer my questions and explain what could be happening. He narrowed down my diagnosis to a problem that could possibly need surgery, but gave me lots of ideas and ways to try and avoid surgery. His opinion was to put surgery as a last option and try other ways to treat my problem first. It was easy to get appointments and his staff is great. I never waited more than 5-10 minutes to see him.

I’m patient and intolerant. Dr Pifer was very attentive, curious and an active listener. In the past ten months he replaced both knees. Oh. And I’m a chronic nit picker. In that he gave me little to work with. I’m in my 70’s, a competitive bicyclist and have demanding expectations (intolerant of ‘good enough’). He and I are a good match!

First visit was a Very pleasant experience with Dr Pifer but I have to agree with one reviewer the intake nurse wasn’t very friendly. Giving her benefit of the doubt in that she may have had a bad day. Will see when I go back this week.

Dr Judah Pifer is a wonderful surgeon. I broke my wrist last year and he was very kind and gentle in mannerism and how he spoke with me. I have nothing but high praises for him and his staff for the way I was treated and the fine job he did fixing my wrist. I have full range of motion back in my wrist and hand. I am very grateful I met him.
