List of Spectrum Healthcare Group's Reviews
I loved Spectrum when they first opened in Prescott but as many other reviews say, it’s almost impossible to get an appointment anymore. Like others, I have meds that I have to see a doctor to prescribe, and I’m currently having trouble even getting on the phone to schedule an appointment so I can have those refilled. Being in Prescott, there really aren’t many other options as most offices don’t even accept new patients anymore here. I was so optimistic when Spectrum opened (I had the best experience with a doctor in my life when I had my first annual checkup with them last year) but as with all larger medical groups like this they have failed to provide decent service for their patients.
Great people, very helpful
Called this morning my husband have a very hard time with lungs can’t stop coffins have fever for weeks we’re understanding is busy time so we wait but no appointments for next cupola’s months I’m asking what is point have family doctor if you don’t get appointments every time is go to ER contact with office is very no doctor at all but on doors we take new patients this is a joke 12/28/22
This review is for the call center at Spectrum. Trisha, your awesome! There is another girl i dont know her name , she always says thank you in a cheery voice , and have a great rest of your day. GABBY, this is about you! You know,,, you have no idea what someone has going on in there lives, A customer service rep, especially a phone rep at a dr office you have a shitty attitude. You act put out angry, and not very passionate about your job. You should never be anything but nice. If you dont want to be nice NO MATTER WHAT then go get a job in a jail or prison. Its not just regular customers your dealing with. We are sick, scared, old, inquisitive , grumpy...... you have to deal with it or get out! I pay alot of money to see the Dr. I will expect better service if i am ever unfortunate to speak to you on the phone. If i was corporate i would fire you!
Not very decent about weather in Prescott when it snows. So somebody who is 3 to 5 minutes late on an appointment should be kind of you know forgiven because some older people rely on others for transportation and we had lots of snow and after three minutes my mom was turned away because she was late now you call you call that caring you call that somebody a place that’s going to help you not in my book not at all you be the judge if you wanna go here but no, this when you’re late, regardless of the weather forget about it, don’t even bother I would suggest highly going somewhere else to where there are people who care about your well-being
It took two months to get an appointment with a doctor and another two months for a follow-up appointment. 10 days before the follow-up appointment they called to reschedule only to find that they couldn't get me in for an additional two months unless I was willing to do a virtual appointment with someone else. I am looking for a new doctor now, unfortunately I can't get back the four months wasted time I've gone through with this outfit. I would hare see what kind of care I would receive if I really needed an appointment with a real doctor.
Wonderful staff, they listen intently and really want to know if you have any questions or concerns. My minus one star is due to the time waiting for an appointment. I had an issue with my medicine and the soonest appointment they could get me was a month out, with no bridge available. I can’t go that long without meds. I was able to find another doctor for my meds, but this is not ok. However, once you do have your appointment and get in, they’re wonderful people. Best mental health clinic I’ve been to, despite the appointment issue.
This is about their new scheduling system, in which you either A) wait on hold for ridiculous amounts of time for a docs office (more than 20 minutes please!!) or B) have someone call you back randomly during your day, which is not helpful really. I miss the person who works in the office scheduling my appointments, why is this change better? Also after waiting, I was told that I cannot make an appointment for a flu shot and booster at this time???? We are heading into Oct which is the recommended time for flu shots. So long wait for nothing - disconnected the call because I was too annoyed and didn't want to take it out on the operator. This doctor's office is heading in the wrong direction....
They don't care. Dealing with depression, called my provider and sent a message to her, Clarissa Higgins, telling her the meds she gave me are making me more depressed and I had to stop taking them. Asked for a call and new meds. I heard NOTHING. That was June 24th. She doesn't care. They don't care.
Spectrum has started forcing you to make an appointment every 3 months in order to get prescriptions refilled. On my very first appointment they promised they don't do this practice, but guess what - they do, and I have first hand knowledge of this exact same thing happening to another patient as well. This is not an acceptable practice, and would strongly recommend avoiding Spectrum Healthcare Group at all costs if your healthcare is important to you, because it's not to Spectrum.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
