Banner Surgery Center - Ironwood's Online Review Report Card

The wait time is terrible. The staff is unprofessional and they lied on my records. I spent 10 hours there. They lost my Covid/ flu tests, so they had to be redone. They couldn’t get an iv in. I had 8 iv’s. 4 infiltrated and 3 they couldn’t get a return once it was in. The CT tech finally got an iv in long enough to do a dye scan. I got taken back to the room and found that the iv came out. There was blood everywhere. I kept pushing the button for the nurse, but no one came. When I heard someone in the hall I told them there was blood all over and a nurse finally came in. I checked my records the next day and it said I was a hard stick but they got it on the second try. They also said they gave me fluids. That is a lie. They couldn’t keep an iv in long enough for that.

This has got to be one of the worst ERs. I went in after 11:00 pm last night with horrible pain from Trigeminal Neuralgia. I have a pretty high pain tolerance but this time it was too bad for me to bear. I saw about 6-8 people in the waiting room but figured they were moving pretty good as I saw 2 people leave on my way in. Waited 20 minutes for triage, was told they "had no beds available" so they would get me back as soon as possible. When I asked how long that may be I was told "I don't know but it's been a pretty long wait for the people out there (in the waiting room)".  While I was back in the waiting area I saw another 8 people leave but only 1 person was called back. I heard someone come in and ask another person who was waiting if they'd heard anything in the 7 hours they'd been there. 7 hours! Finally after seeing so many people leave but no one being called back I left. I can be in pain at home where at least I'm not sitting in an uncomfortable chair. I know I'll get the typical Banner response "e-mail is your info and we'll contact you" but that's just a canned response or they pick and choose who to respond to.

The service isn't all that great! Lost my uncles expensive walker & slippers. How does that happen? Ok, customer service sucks but that's the review!!! frustrated 😠

This was a joke!! I arrived at 8:30 pm with an asthma attack. I couldn’t really speak, i was wheezing and in terrible shape. I waited in the lobby, gasping for air, wheezing, my inhaler wasn’t working as i watched people with a rash get taken back before me. I never was seen after 2 hours at 10:30pm I left. I tried to talk to lady at front desk, she was clueless of the severity of my situation. I tried to calm myself down and take slow breaths as much as I could in hopes I would be “next” It never happened! I went somewhere else! They are horrible!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Terrible place to visit, the nurse complained about the Covid-19 vaccine and the physician assistant told me off when other staff wasn’t around to make himself look and feel important. I asked for an itemized bill over a month ago and then still haven’t seen anything other than a standard bill. Corporate greed and medicine mixed together. I see why they only have 2.5 stars on google!

They reached out to me and typical they say they fixed the problems, but they make excuses for everything. So no still a crappy hospital and if you value your life and time stay away from this place.

Horrible wait times, claimed had 6 open beds just waiting on housecleaning, been 2 hrs and 30 mins since that and still in lobby. 5 hrs waiting vomiting in we waiting room while they sit in the back laughing and playing grab ass

Worst experience I've ever had waited two hours for care and front desk was rude and nurses we're to busy talking and joking around left in bed with no blanket the First person to check on me was billing I was in so much pain it 20 minutes before got a nurse very sad that there care is that poor

Brought my daughter in, a minor, was told two parents were not allowed to go back with her due to "covid" yet masks were not being worn by nurses sitting at their desks loss than 6 feet a part, all the while patients and visitors were forced to wear masks regardless of vaccination status. EMS responders(fire fighters/paramedics/emts) were also, NOT wearing masks. Why does banner get to pick and choose who wears a mask, yet two parents cannot be there for their daughter?
