Just received a 5 star experience this morning from Celeste at the reception to Arianna the doctors assistance.Everyone so professional and courteous.I was in and out in 25 minutes and all concerns quickly and accurately diagnosed.Thank you all.
I will not be coming back- I came in for my first appointment about a month ago and was in the office a total of 15 minutes. This guy does not have any bedside manner whatsoever. I felt like a task he had to check off for the day. I came in for mole checks and also some skin concerns. He didn't give me any warning that he was going to start looking over my moles and proceeded to lift up my shirt without asking. As a young girl- absolutely not. He then proceeded to take off my mask and go "you have some acne" which- my skin is decent but even saying that to someone? Why not ask, tell me about your skin concerns or something along those lines. My biggest recommendation- do not come here if you want to feel like you have a doctor that cares about you and your concerns, and especially don't come here if you are even remotely self conscious. Just very frustrated with how doctors are now- where is the bedside manner, the making people feel comfortable? Definitely not here I'll tell you that.
In 2020 I visited this office, and made very clear I'd never been to a dermatologist before, but was worried about a mole. I got booked for a "tissue sample/biopsy", which was not explained to me to be full excision plus stitches with 4 weeks of no exercise until I was prepped in their office chair (white coat syndrome exists, and any longterm provider should know better). I now have a very unappealing large scar on my chest, however, I am still thankful it wasn't cancer. At my check-up, this 4 weeks was now told to me to be 6 more weeks. As an active person, I would have appreciated actually being able to prepare for this, as it greatly impacted plans that had already existed. Additionally, the follow-up was meant to be a chance to go over my results. However, it wasn't until the Dr opened my chart in the room he admitted I had no results yet (so extra appt built in due to this lack of detail). After my biopsy results did come in, the person who called tried to force me into an additional tissue excision despite my results "not being a concern". When I asked for an explanation, she pressured I should just make an appt because she couldn't say more over the phone. Then came the bills---all were paid in full with an out of pocket discount, however, a later mystery one one kept getting mailed to me months after it was paid. After multiple weeks attempting to speak to billing and a game of back and forth with Dr. Badame, this was finally resolved in Feb 2021 (according to my email records) as a supposed "system error" due to miscommunication between the payment being acknowledged, the billing office, and automated mailing. And yet, today, in 2022, I received a collections notice for the same amount, despite attempting contact immediately after receiving this error bill yet again a month ago. I'm frustrated by the predatory attempts to book more surgeries/appts and the follow-up for payment from a patient who handled all billing in bulk and out of pocket. I regret choosing this office for my mole concerns, as it now seems this isn't going to end anytime soon. For clarity, I did attempt to call directly again today, but no one answered any of the multiple line options and the billing mailbox was full. Just a very exhausting and unprofessional experience now stretching over 2 years. March Update: called again and got ahold of someone who was understanding and didn't seem surprised this happened, so I'm hoping to have this resolved soon and then I'll update this review. I have asked for emails to confirm these phone conversations, but no one did despite agreeing on the phone. Update 2: after 2 more weeks of phone calls, follow-up, and finding billing statements to re-prove to the separate billing office that I paid for the service rendered in 2020, I have been told my balance is zero and the collections notices will stop. It is still unclear why this came up in 2021 and again for 2022, but I sincerely hope I do not hear from them again in 2023 over the same issue. The only excuses I was given were one: after paying out of pocket Dr. Badame/his office must have billed insurance anyway (why this happened when a bill was paid is unknown). Or two: the system had an issue showing any record of payment (again, unclear why this seems to restart each year). Overall, this has been a very exhausting and distressing process that I hope has officially ended this time. Update 3: it is now June, and I just got another collections notice, so apparently I get to start this process over again. I am truly at a complete loss as to how this continues to happen. Update 4: After leaving this review, Dr. Badame reached out to explain the billing error and realized upon review they actually owed me $180.25, despite the mistaken collections notices being sent my way. He sent this amount to me as well as the pathology reports I never received due to delayed results and the issues mentioned above that made me not wish to visit the office again. Today (July 20) Dr. Badame asked that I revisit my review after his email in June, so I have updated.
In addition to our past visits, my husband and I went today for our usual skin checks. On my visits, I want : answers to my questions, no push for products, and competent staff. I feel I receive this Every time I see Dr. Badame. I find him to be highly ethical, easy to be with, with expert straightforward Dermatology expertise. I don't want to visit a practice that is more concerned about age-defying treatments or procedures, I never have felt that once in his office. Front office and assisting is welcoming and professional, I have seen some new faces time to time (always lots of turnover in medical offices) but someone chooses well because they have always been lovely staff. I feel it's a real treat to have a visit. As a nursing professional I would say he's the best go-to Derm., we are blesseded to be his patients.
I made my appointment with Dr. Badame maybe two years ago. I had the initial appointment which was a consolation for a cherry angioma removal on my nose! The mole was so big and plump that I was already resigned on the thought of having a scar on my nose from this removal! We sent a total of 10 mins which was about $100 since I did not have insurance. The day of the actually removal, he was very quick in numbing and cutting/cauterizing the area. Fast forward a few couple of months later, the scar was supper small. Then today, the scar on my nose is so small, its barely uunnoticible unless you look very hard! The staffs in the front and the medical assistant was also very friendly while being quick and efficient! I overall do recommend this place!
It is absolutely ridiculous how many bills I have received from this doctor just for a 10 minute consultation appointment. I thought I was only going to pay a co-pay, but then for the past couple of months, I have received 3 bills of around $200 each asking me to pay them back out of pocket. It honestly feels like I am being scammed at this point. Suffice to say, I will never be returning here again. This has never happened to me with other doctors before.
I got billed nearly $500 for a simple 10 minute consultation appointment, which is absolutely ridiculous. I thought I was only going to pay the co-pay, but for the past couple of months, I have been heckled with bills asking to pay back Badame for his services on my mole inspection. This has never happened to me with other doctors before, it just feels like he is trying to milk every dollar from my bank account as much as possible. Suffice to say, I won't be coming back.
Very fast and very efficient neck warts removal with crio nitrogen. Very affordable price. Quick and confident schedule.
This doctor is only looking to fit you in so he can schedule a check to cash for himself. From my experience, Dr. Badame seems to be another Silicon Valley doctor training his young assistants to disregard patients who are there for concerns that aren't worth his expense. I was scheduled in to receive professional service about some long term contact dermatitis issues & acne. I showed up to my appointment only to be rushed out after a 10 minute examination without being asked more than 2 questions, getting no answers, wasting over $150. The real slap in the face was being ushered out as a more serious case was welcomed in with patience and a smile for their after hours surgery. Obviously more $$$ to draw out from this guy's issues, Dr. Badame's disregard for my genuine concerns and discomfort was enough to realize how shallow this experience was. Don't recommend going here he don't need more of ur money trust me
I noticed I was getting a lot more sun spots and had one mole/spot that I was concerned about. I'm in my 60's and have never had my sun spots and moles looked at before. I was a little nervous not knowing what to expect. The staff is so friendly. They put me at ease immediately. And Dr. Badame is amazing too. He made me feel relaxed as he carefully scanned all my moles and spots. He explained everything he saw and answered all my questions and concerns. Afterward I couldn't remember why I had been so nervous. This was an easy and relaxing visit. I'd highly recommend Dr. Badame and his friendly staff.
