List of Allan Rowley's Reviews
Extremely unhelpful with chronic pain. He gave me a couple names of books on “how to deal with chronic pain” and told me he couldn’t do anything for me. He advised me to try yoga. I have slipped discs, spinal stenosis and Myelopathy, which is shown on my MRI results. Chronic pain for ten years. I feel my time was wasted and was not taken seriously or with care.
I had seen Dr Rowley previously in 2019 after I herniated two discs, he was able to diagnose my issue and prescribe medication to relieve my pain while I recovered. I am now having issues with a degenerating cervical disc, which has left me in intense, unrelenting pain since the 1st of the year. I saw Dr Rowley on Monday, due to my condition he ordered an MRI stat, which I had the following morning. I called today, three days after the MRI to find they had received the MRI Tuesday. I have been suffering beyond my words to articulate this entire time, but did not get a call or have any medictions sent to my pharmacy. I had to call repeatedly, including to the on call doc after hours to get a return call, to find they had prescribed a steroid pack, rather than something that offers more immediate relief. I also have high blood pressure, and am not able to take oral steroids, which should have been clear to the prescribing doctor. I was told since it's now after hours "it's 5:30 on a Friday" their "hands are tied." I was also informed this office prescribes only NSAIDs or steroids, unless you've had surgery, so no actual pain relief unless they've already messed up your surgery? I have lost all confidence in Dr Rowley and Dr Godinsky (the on call and overly caffeinated doc who repeatedly spoke over me as I tried to detail my concerns about the safety of an oral steroid) and I will be disputing your office call with my insurance.

aw him previously for herniated discs, was prescribed medication to relieve my pain, recovery improved to the point I didn't need further intervention. The 1st of the year I began experiencing incredibly intense back, neck and nerve pain in my arm due to a degenerating disc. I saw him Monday, due to my condition he ordered an MRI stat, which I had done the following morning. I waited for a call with the results and some pain relief while we waited to schedule an injection, and since I had not received a call I called at 9:30 (they open at 9) and initiated contact with Dr Rowley and/or his assistant. I called twice more during business hours and several more after before receiving a call from the assistant telling me a steroid pack had been ordered for me. I am in need of immediate pain relief, so this was distressing to say the least. I did not realize until after the call that I can't take oral steroids due to my high blood pressure, and so called again to the on call doc, who informed me "it's 5:30 on a Friday" and his "hands are tied." Dr Rowley saw fit to order a stat MRI to help get me some relief ASAP, but then felt it was ok to leave me suffering for another week at minimum. I will not be returning and have initiated a dispute with my insurer.

I really have fear and anxiety from seeing doctors I’ve never written a review but dr Rowley is so kind patient and really made me feel comfortable and safe and I could say the meds took all my pain away but I really feel like having dr Rowley really care about me relieved me of so much anxiety and pain , thank you forever grateful
Dr. Rowley is a compassionate person. He sat down explained everything to me. Then asked if I had questions.. I would recommend him and his office staff which were very personable also. Great experience in that office.
I like the bed side manners - Dr is calming and concerned about you
I've been a patient for 4 yes now, and definitely recommend Dr. Rowley for pain management. He's cautious because he is an analytical person, and wants to weigh all options to best help you. As there's an increased risk for addiction drugs like Percocet, Dr. Rowley prefers to use solutions that don't rely on medications unless absolutely necessary. This also saves the patient money, time, and a trip to the pharmacy. He is kind. He is caring, and is attentive to his patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
