List of Amit A Sahasrabudhe's Reviews
He helped me with my shoulder never felt better, probably the best shoulder doctor in Phoenix
I called Dr. Amit A. Sahasrabudhe office to find out what he charges for a simple endoscopic surgery for a torn meniscus. I am cash pay and do not have insurance and asked for a very general idea of their fees. After I explained I have the results from the MRI and could send him a copy I was told that he would have to see me in person. Obviously I didn't want to make a visit as it would cost me money to just find out that he charges way more than I can afford. I reluctantly scheduled the appointment for June 20 at 10:45 just so I could get his fees in hopes he would be in the range i could afford. I met with the sugeon and he seemed very kind and honest at the time. After I met with him he told me his assist/wife I believe it was would reach out within the next day or so and tell me their fees. I waited, and I waited, and I waited. I finally gave up waiting and called his office July 15 almost an entire month after my appointment. I left a message and gave a follow up email as I could not get anyone on the phone to speak to. Later that day I recieved an email back stating " I apologize for the delay in getting a response from our office. Your email has been forwarded to the doctor's assistant, our billing department, and our office administrator. They have left the office for the day but staff will return on Monday morning and you can expect to receive a response early next week. Thank you, Patti Rosington" Monday came and gone and still nothing from this Dr's office. I called them today and after a few tries and no responses I pretended I was scheduling an appointment and wouldn't ya know someone actually picked up the phone. I guess they were ready to take someone else's money just not give those that already spent money the time of day. Long story short, I asked for a refund as I did not get what I scheduled the appointment for. I was told they couldn't refund me because I met with the doctor. I asked them if they gave me what I paid for and Patti said "yes, you met with the surgeon." Again, I only met with the surgeon to get his fees and I made that very clear when I scheduled the appointment. Stay away from this surgeons office they will take your money and move on like you didn't even exist!!!! I have been so super kind and very patient, I have been dealing with this torn meniscus for 2 years, I finally saved a bunch of money to get it fixed and I get this type of treatment. I was so hopeful, do yourself a favor and find someone else.
Experienced and knowledgeable surgeon.
Super nice guy, very personable. Excellent doctor, usually on time, which is a plus. Been his patient for a while.
I hate to leave one star but I need to leave a comment and my experience i had with this doctor for only one visit for an IME for insurance at my job so my right arm and hand was in a lot of pain and going numb in my hand this doctor told me in time it would heal on it own so after that the insurance stop seeing me and I had to go to the emergency room one day on my own due to pain I was still having a lot of pain and pressure and I decided to look for a second opinion since I was still in pain that weren’t with the insurance to get a second opinion and I also decided to look at google review of all the doctors I seen for my IME and I seen bad reviews on all the doctors I was seen threw the insurance and this doctor said I would heal in 6 to 7 months and still till this day I’m having under the arm pit pain and still numbness in my hands so I had to be seen by other doctor that actually care for my well being and I’m still being seen till this day I want a doctor that honest also he didn’t answer any of questions he was more in a rush with me and all three doctors were attacking me over my health issues these doctors work for the insurance money and referral this doctor should be ashamed of him self he’s working for his own greed to line up his pocket instead caring for people in pain smh
The key to these reviews... pay attention to the ones that say that he was hired to do an IME for the insurance companies. These doctors are paid extremely well to write a bogus diagnosis so that the insurance company can deny the claim. If I had spent all my time and resources to become a doctor, there is absolutely no way that I would ruin my reputation by participating in such a disgusting activity. I'm sure he's a great doctor but unfortunately not concerned with the well being of the patients who come to him through an insurance company. I was put on and kept on light duty by 4 other doctors, this doctor released me to full duty after zero treatment. 1 year later, I'm still fighting with pinched nerves that have caused my arms to become weak. Not sure how someone sleeps at night knowing that they wrote a bogus diagnosis because the insurance company is paying big money. This review won't hurt him nearly as bad as his bogus diagnosis has hurt me. I'd love to know the mental process in making the decision to do harm to another human being rather than doing the right thing.
Dr. Amit is one of the best medical professionals I've ever encountered and performed my ACL reconstruction back in Jan of '09. My knee is still in fantastic shape and I have no physical limitations. I was able to return completely to sport and still refer him to family and friends for any orthopedic needs. I have seen him for a few other injuries/checkups and he is always completely straight forward and very thorough.

Ok, I read Kendra C, report on Dr. Amit, from, 12/3/2014 and see was spot on. Of course that is only one report when we all know several reports give a better understanding of a doctor. So, I read JimJim C report and he couldn't be further from the truth, when comparing my experience with Dr. Amit. He is a 5 star and then some. I recently underwent right shoulder surgery, performed by Dr. Admit, September 17, 2019. For 7 years (2012-2019), the Phoenix VA Medical Center denied the surgery I requested, which was performed by Dr. Amit. From day one, 2013, Dr. Amit NEVER gave up on me, and was always in my corner when he diagnosed my right shoulder properly and even kept detailed documentation for all those years until I received the surgery. The Phoenix VA diagnosed me with having severe arthritis, which I didn't according to X-rays and MRIs. As a veteran, my only source of care was the Phoenix VA until I fought year after year with the Phoenix VA until I was approved to allow Dr. Amit to perform the surgery. All I can say as a veteran, that was the best choice I have ever made when it came to a surgery, and that was my fourth Scope, 3 knee scopes performed by the Phoenix VA worse ever, and my first to my right shoulder performed by Dr. Amit, one of the best decision in my life! Today is October 8, 2019, and not even a month has passed, and my shoulder feels amazing, but of course, because the Phoenix VA made me wait so long, suffering for all those years, my arthritis has accelerated to severe. If the Phoenix VA would have approved my surgery in 2013, when I had mild arthritis, my right shoulder would be 100% pain free! With that said, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Admit. He is straight forward, will not pull punches to make you feel better, as he will give it to you straight up without hesitation. That is the kind of doctor I prefer, and all of that was before surgery. His team is just as amazing. Robyn, his nurse, is awesome, and someone who will make you feel comfortable, and medical documents that you request are yours, can be received in a timely manner if you request them. In conclusion, I do not know JimJim encounters but, If he already had a Surgeon who agreed with him, why was he seeing another Surgeon who didn't agree with him? I do not care if he has been practicing for one year or 25 years, my right shoulder haven't felt this good in 7 years, and if I had to have shoulder surgery again it damn sure will be Dr. Admit I go to. As a veteran who served this great nation, honorably, I provided the best opinion I can so other potential patients can have a real overview of this doctor. FYI: If a patient does not like the diagnose of one doctor, common sense would insinuate that patient should seek the opinions of a 2nd and 3rd Orthopedics doctor. Just an educated guess. Dr. Amit or your team, if you read this, I am grateful for all your team has done before, during, and after shoulder surgery. They are just as attentive after my surgery. Got to love a team loin that. Everyone's experience is different, but this is mine. Be Blessed. That Is All...
Have 3 Rotator Cuff surgeries, great doctor, attentive, listens and very professional, He cares about his patients, and ha a great staff.
