List of Arcadia Eye Care's Reviews
The staff is very nice, knowledgeable and super friendly. But I had a bad experience with Dr. Anderson. I spent most of the time with the staff during my eye appointment but when the doctor walked in, he was in a hurry. He literally was in an out in 3 minutes did not ask me what my issues were, just mechanically prescribed me eye glasses and the worst part was that when I ordered the glasses, they are completely wrong. So, not only am I out of pocket on the eye exam now I am sitting with these glasses which are basically useless. Suggestions for improvement: Be less robotic. This is not just a money making operation which is the impression I got, you are here to help human beings. Be more human.
Dr. Anderson is great and his staff was extremely helpful and nice.
They take their time to really work with you and care for you in the best way possible, Dr. Anderson and his staff do not rush you or try to upsell you like all of the other optical shops in the area. They are knowledgeable, kind and honest. I’ve never been to a better optometrists office.
Friendly and happy staff. Dr. Anderson did a quick and thorough exam. He changed my life once again, finding my right prescription for my multi focal contacts. Happy I can throw away all my readers giving me the false feeling that I am not so old. Ashley made ordering my contacts efficient and fun.
Very strange. I called to make an appointment and çheck payment options and she was all I er the place. I couldn't get a simple price , everything depended on something to be adde on . Shady. Í was excited to use them but not any more.
Dr. Anderson, April, and the rest of the staff are always a delight to visit for my and my daughter's eye check ups and glasses.
Who would have thought that going for an eye exam could be so much fun? I had such a great experience at Arcadia Eye Care! The location is in a neighborhood tucked back away from the noise of Old Town Scottsdale and the staff was so friendly! Dr. Anderson was super nice and had a great sense of humor and Ashley took such great care of me! I must have tried on at least 100 pairs of frames and she was just as excited as I was to find the best fit. They had so many brands to choose from like Oliver Peoples, Tom Ford, WOOW, and so many more that I’ve never heard of before. They also had sunglasses - I will be back another time for them 😉. While I was having a fashion show, another customer was visiting who has been seeing them for quite some time. She seemed to have a great relationship with all of the team and joined in to help with styling my new look. We all laughed and had a great time helping each other. That’s what it’s all about, right?! This wasn’t a typical visit to the eye doctor. This was an experience made by a team of people who truly care about their patients. I highly recommend SEEING Arcadia Eye Care in Scottsdale, AZ!
I had been going here for years for contacts. Very pleased as always suffered with poor eyesight. Had cataract surgery on left eye. No issues. Still wore contacts. Had surgery on right eye by someone he recommends which caused night blindness. I was upset and went there after my surgery and was told besides not being able to drive again at night I could no longer wear contacts. He was very abrupt and rude and said there was nothing he could do for me. I just had cataract surgery to improve my eyes. Not to make them worse. I heard him conversing with other patients all nice and friendly and he treated me horribly. He could not wait to get rid of me. I needed TLC and given some options. Told major issue with left eye and needed to see someone immediately. They got me an appointment the next day with ophthalmologist and I was told misdiagnosed. Nothing wrong with left eye. I took the day off from work, sat in the waiting room 3 hours and spent 30 seconds with the doctor that looked at pictures of my eye and said nothing wrong. Here I am a year later going from doctor to doctor and keep getting wrong eye drops, contacts I cannot see out of. Got glasses that are okay. I hope he is still not referring people to the horrible cataract surgeon. When I saw her and said I could not see at night she shrugged her shoulders and said go to Lens Crafters! Plus looking at glasses after my appointment. Person in optical more interested in texting on her phone than helping a customer. She said insurance should cover most of it. Still cost over $200. Had bifocals. Ended being redone for lower part of lens.
Awesome group of caring professionals!! Highly reccomend!!
On August 22nd, I ordered lenses for 3 pairs of glasses following an update to my prescription. First, one of the opticians entered the order wrong for 2 or the 3 lenses, so when they arrived about 3 weeks later, they had to figure out what went wrong and reorder them. Then, about 2 more weeks went by and I got a text that they were ready, so I drove 30 minutes to pick them up, only to find out that the text was sent by mistake and they still had not even placed the re-order. It has now been over 7 weeks since I ordered these lenses and I have no idea when they will be received. For the past 7 days I've been reaching out for an update and cannot get a response. In the meantime, I took my prescription to Lens Crafters a few weeks ago to have another pair of Ray Ban sunglasses updated, and in just 6 days I had progressive lenses back and had no issues whatsoever.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
