I don’t think I’ve ever had a Dr as kind and patient as Dr Bakhru. I’m thankful he was my doctor.

Dr. Bakhru is the gold standard for gynecology oncology. From bedside manner, compassion, kindness, knowledge, and skill this surgeon goes above and beyond to make sure you feel like you are in the best of hands. When I found out I had a 35cm tumor in my right ovary that would need surgically removed I was devastated. As a 29 year old girl still wanting kids and a family, I was scared of the risks, recovery, and surgery as a whole. Not only did Dr. Bakhru fit me in immediately and scheduled me for surgery the following week, he sat with me in pre-op and followed up with me in recovery, at the end of the day in my hospital room, and first thing in the morning the following day. Absolutely INCREDIBLE bedside manner and genuine care for his patients. Additionally, because my tumor was so large and the pathology was unknown, I was told I would need to have a large vertical incision. Dr. Bakhru reviewed my case extensively with radiology prior to surgery and was able to successfully remove the tumor with just a low transverse incision making my recovery far more tolerable and aesthetically much more pleasing. I cannot say enough good things about this surgeon. I am beyond grateful that I found him and am blown away with my care. If you are in need of a gynecologic oncologist, Dr. Bakhru is your guy!

I am so happy that I was under the care of Dr. Bakhru. I was so afraid of Surgery. After my consultation with Dr. Bakhru and the empathy he showed I became sooo relaxed. He definitely have a calm and gentle demeanor. Dr. Bakhru listen to all my fears and concerns. Not 1 time did he appear to rush or push me off. The questions that I asked may have sound kind of brainless to him (lol) but he didn't show it. Professional, kind and humble was all that I got from this great doctor. I have been blessed to have had a few good doctors in my lifetime but it feels so good that I am able to add another to the list. Thank you Dr. Arvind Bakhru for understanding that I am human first and patient second.

Dr Bakhru saved my life. Post c section I developed a large hematoma and he was called in last minute to perform emergency surgery alongside my OB. He was calm, patient, knowledgeable and kind. Thank you for all you do!

Dr. Bakhru saved my life too & I love reading these other reviews that are spot on with what I have seen in Dr. Bakhru, he is a wonderful person! When other doctors went from pushing me aside & not taking me seriously to making me think I was dying, Dr. Bakhru was always there & on my side. He took his own time to call me & explain to me why I should remain hopeful when my local oncologist made me think I was in much worse condition than I was. I recently finished 6 treatments of chemo with no signs of cancer 🙌🙏🙏🙏🤞🤞🤞 I am thankful for every breath I breathe & the only reason I'm still breathing is this man fit me in for surgery last minute & stayed late to save my life. I know he has a family & we all only have so much time on this planet. I appreciate him taking time away from his family to save my life & who knows how many others. How do you ever thank someone for that? He is an amazing human being & he deserves credit for it. Not to mention the women who have to go through such a traumatic experience as cancer of the reproductive system (or any form of cancer or life threatening disease) deserve to have a good doctor on their side. This is him, look no further. I drive over 3 hours to see him because he is the only one I trust. God bless Dr. Bakhru & his family & anyone that has to go through this awfulness 🙏

There are no words to describe my deep appreciation for all Dr Bakhru did to help me as soon as he could after my recent disconcerting diagnosis to schedule surgery so I could quickly heal from an aggressive, nasty & rare uterine cancer I still can’t believe was inside me! You won’t find anyone with the kind and loving bedside manner Dr Bakhru has as he is extremely reassuring and calming; so kind, caring and compassionate that he made my worries melt away each time we met - even when he visited just prior to surgery! It meant so much that even my fiancé now holds him in high esteem! Dr Bakhru was amazing at listening to all my concerns and thoroughly explained things so my worries would dissipate. I’m also grateful to dear Dr Alexandra Kidd for referring me to such a highly skilled, experienced and compassionate surgeon as these qualities will increase my chances for a smooth and healthy recovery! Without a doubt, Dr Bakhru is A-1 top-shelf wonderful! I found Dr Bakhru to be a gentle, kind soul in heart, mind and spirit, and sincerely thank him from the bottom of my heart for sharing his craft to heal those like myself who are in dire need of his special gift of healing. Long live Dr Bakhru - a real gem of a surgeon I will forever be grateful for having crossed paths with in life!

I would highly recommend Dr. Bakhru. He is the rare combinations of kindness, compassion, and gifted. I had surgery exactly two weeks ago at Honor Health Scottsdale Shea and even the staff in pre-op and on the floor say he is just the best. The surgery went very well and surprisingly, I went home the next day.
