Assisted Living Of Scottsdale's Online Review Report Card

I feel so fortunate that I found this lovely home for my dad. He was a resident there for more than a year, through the end of his life. The home is beautiful, always clean, and every need was taken care of exceptionally. At every stage, everyone took such great care of my dad and truly cared for him. Thank you, Ileana and team for all you did to help my dad and our family. It is truly appreciated by all of us. If you're reading this in hopes of finding the right place for your loved one, look no further. This is is.

I am power of attorney for a good friend of mine who has no other family. He has been at Assisited Living of Scottsdale for 3 years now and they have done a great job of caring for him. I have seen other assisted living places and this is the cleanest and nicest in a beautiful home like atmosphere. My friend is very mentally alert, he just has some mobility issues, which they accomodate very well. He says the owner, managers, and staff are truly wonderful, professional, kind and good people. I visit often, usually on short notice due to my work schedule, and am always welcomed to a clean, well kept home. My friend and I highly recommend Assisted Living of Scottsdale!

Ileana and staff run a great facility. My father has been cared for here very well over the last 3 years. I stop in often unannounced and facility is always clean. Dad is always also clean and dressed. He has advanced Parkinson's so needs a great deal of help getting up and dressed. He is as happy as I am with living here.

We placed our mom through a placement service with ALOS. It was the best decision for her. The care givers are patient and caring, and Ileana does a great job running it. The facility is beautiful and well kept. Ileana even took mom to appointments as needed. Mom also raved about the food and how good it tasted. The place always smelled wonderful when we stopped by to visit. The location is well placed and not in a residential neighborhood but on the outskirts. Highly recommend ALOS.

Ileana and her staff were very caring and compassionate with my mother. The home is very warm and inviting. We couldn't have ask for a better place.

Ileana, Gabriel and the staff provided excellent skilled nursing care for my mother. Her caregivers were caring and responsive. When my mother started having trouble using her phone, they helped her with it when I called her in between my visits.The home is very clean and welcoming and they provide three home-cooked meals daily. When my mother was in the hospital, Ileana went to see her every day. Whenever I had questions, Ileana responded immediately. Everyone there takes a genuine, personal interest in the residents and their families.

The managers and staff at Assisted Living of Scottsdale have a lot of heart and are very well meaning and competent in their care of the residents in their meticulously operated and clean home. My mother, because of her advancing condition, presented a bunch of challenges to the staff that they handled well and they also dealt with my concerns in a balanced way. The caregivers have a very tough job at times, and they appear to be up to the various challenges of each individual resident.

Words cannot express how incredible this company is. They offer a level of personalized care that you just can't find anywhere else. They utilize qualified professionals that cater to a relatively small number of residents which enables them to spend more time with each resident compared to a larger facility. Their houses are truly "homes." They do not feel like facilities. They are beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained. In the time that my mother was with Ileana, Gabriel, and their wonderful staff, she was provided a level of care that I was unable to provide her myself. There is a lot that goes into caring for an elderly woman and much of it is not glamorous. They did all of these things with relative ease. In addition, they provided her three wonderful home-cooked meals each day, provided her 24-hour assistance, ordered, organized, and administered her medications, dealt with her mood swings, and made every effort to ensure that she felt safe and at-home. Of special note, is that they helped my mother and us, her family, with the difficult transition from living at home to living in assisted living. I am forever grateful to these angels for having gone above and beyond in every aspect of their service and care.

My mom is 98 years old and has been living at ALOS for over five years. She has gone from needing little more than a cane for support to having zero mobility. The staff and caregivers have evolved with her changing needs in a professional, informed and compassionate fashion. My Mom is consistently clean, her clothes are clean, her suite is always neat with fresh linens on her bed. The facility is modern, commodious and always clean and fresh smelling. There is never a telltale flowery or antiseptic smell in the air as though they are trying to disguise an otherwise unhealthy environment... the home is spotless and clean at any hour of the day. The owners and managers along with the entire caregiving staff are attentive to my Mom's every need and desire, frequently preparing a separate meal for her when she is not overly fond of the daily menu selection as she is a finicky eater. ALOS has demonstrated its continuing devotion to her well being especially during this Covid-19 season. The visitation restrictions currently in place have made it difficult to have meaningful time with her. They initiate FaceTime calls and the staff has come up with some innovative ideas to keep her comfortable and safe while adhering to the strict visitation guidelines recommended and mandated by the state. Assisted Living of Scottsdale was the best possible choice I could have made for my Mom's care at this season of her life.
