I wish there was a way to give NEGATIVE stars. This woman decided based on a single result (that she "doesn't believe that test says anything") that it meant that any additional testing wasn't going to show anything and therefore would do nothing to help. Not the kind of provider anyone should depend on. RUN from this woman.

Everything started out great - long first visit and then - you will never see her again! Care turned over to a NP or PA who doesnt even read your chart before calling you back to tell you to go to ED and spend another $5K unnecessariy!!! Rude, staff. Horrible experience and so atypical of Mayo!!!

Dr Ruddy was doing her residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in the 1980's. She cared for my mother who was terminally ill with Leukemia. My mother adored Dr Ruddy. She ALWAYS took time to listen to her concerns about her disease and her progress. I would highly recommend Dr Ruddy because she is compassionate, caring, she listens to her patients' questions and is one of the very best doctors I have ever known. My family will always be deeply grateful to her for her good care of my mother.

First and only bad experience at the Mayo Clinic. The staff and the Dr were very rude. Incredible for a Mayo Clinic staff. Horrible. Maybe a bad day for them

I really like Dr. Ruddy! She takes all the time you want and is an excellent at diagnosing and preventative care. I would highly recommend her if you are lucky enough to be accepted as a patient (not sure if she is taking new patients).
