Made an appointment for my husband. Had to wait three months. Finally appointment date arrived. Hubs showed for his appointment only to be told they had canceled the appointment. No notification whatsoever. So I phoned and pressed the issue and got an appointment for later in the day. Just as husband was arriving, he received a call from the practice saying that appointment was canceled, too. They offered him another appointment three more months out. Obviously, they’re not at all concerned about his issue. Callous disregard for patient wellbeing.

Nice staff and very knowledgeable Dr. Highly recommended.

This morning I called to verify my appointment for today at 145P. The appointment was made 5 months ago. A person I spoke to told me it was cancelled. This is the second problem with staff. Last time they gave me the wrong address. I did not cancel the appointment and no notice was given.

Let me start off with, Dr Gburek is wonderful. He is brilliant, kind and absolutely one of the best doctors I’ve ever been to. The issue is, ever since he merged with the HUGE group, there’s no easy way to reach him or is MA; it’s like a factory. The service is horrendous and it’s not his fault or his personal staff’s fault-it’s just the new normal since they did the big merger. I have a surgery scheduled and have been trying to reach his staff with a few questions and when you call, you reach a call center NOT in America. You leave a message and hope to hear back. Again, Dr Gburek and his MA are wonderful….. it’s getting hold of them that is the issue I find unacceptable.

Unfortunately, I never was unable to actual meet with Dr. Gburek after waiting 3 months for an appointment for my 92 old father to see him. After paining our co pay and waiting to be called, the office assistant refused to let me join my father, who has mild dementia and difficulty walking, to discuss his medical condition and share other important facts of my father condition. Dr. Gburek is wonderful. His staff helpful. L

I was referred to Dr. Gburek as "the best urologist in the Southwest." Unfortunately, that was not my experience. He was unable to find what was causing terrible pain in my groin, and finally just referred me to his assistant but had no recommendations about what to do for the pain. Fortunately, I ended up with another urologist who identified the problem (a blocked epididymitis) and removed it. I would give Dr. Gburek no stars if I could.
