List of Bradley Brittain's Reviews
I've been going here ever since Smile Today merged with Dr. Bradley Brittain's office. It's been great. The front desk staff is welcoming. My dental hygienist is nice, quick, and friendly. The doctor is great and personable when he asks questions on things we discussed in previous visits that I had totally forgotten. Overall, it's been a great experience, and I would recommend anyone give this dentist office a try.
This Dentistry is more focused on upselling you than cleaning your teeth. The staff will tell you that you have great insurance and are fully covered, but will upsell you a deep clean which will take two visits at an unexpected cost... do not fall prey to this scam. The dental hygienist lied and stated a basic cleaning was $85, and a deep clean is only $110 this is not true! The staff flat out lied basic cleaning is free, and deep clean is very expensive in addition they push it to two visits to make $200 out of pocket costs per each visit...since when do you need two dental visits to get one 30 minute cleaning...they do this to up-charge you and your insurance twice. Further, the staff will add on fluoride, numbing cream, mouth wash etc which you will pay for out of pocket driving up the cost of a cleaning while not informing the patient of the potential incurred costs as they make it sound you are full covered. They use high pressure sales tactics to vulnerable patients stuck in the chair. Finally, they do not care about your health they are business that cleans your teeth poorly, and focuses most of their time upselling different goods and services. As I was getting my teeth cleaned I heard the same lies perpetuated over and over again to other customers in adjoining rooms. The are operating around 10-15 patients at one time not a very personable experience. The Dentist Dr. Brittain is corny and looks like a sleaze ball in my opinion. He uses his assistants to give him a corny detail about yourself to make fun small talk while he is backstabbing you with his pricing scheme. DO NOT GO HERE.
Broke a tooth on Sunday, my primary dental office could/would not see me and after calling many other dental offices I was thinking I was going to have to wait in pain for several days. I called Dentistry of Old Town Scottsdale and was treated as though my issue was a priority, they got me right in and the staff and Dr. Brittain were all pros, put me at ease and did a great job with my issue. This office is pretty far from home and work but I will make this my primary dentist due to the care they showed me.
This place is terrible. I went in for a simple chipped tooth repair. Three appointments later and it is still not fixed. The dentist is very friendly, but not very good at his actual job. Either he does not have the skill or he just does not care enough to get the work done right. By the third appointment he did not even bother to see me, but rather just let his assistant try to fix it. The most important thing for this practice is selling a more expensive treatment, there is no concern for the patient's wellbeing whatsoever. Please do not go here. Find a dentist who actually cares about you.
I was really nervous about getting deep cleaning two days before my overseas trip. Doctor Brittain and his entire staff were all really cordial and pleasant in making this procedure a smooth transition.
I am here to warn you about the terrible embarrassing and dreadful experience I had at this office. I sought care for an infected and painful tooth. our consultation seemed fine but once he began the procedure of extraction it was apparent that he had not numbed me enough. When he started the procedure I could feel the pain at the nerve and all over the roof of my mouth - which seemed quite unusual. due to the fact that I was experiencing so much pain I screamed once where he slammed the door a second time and then the third time he said something to the effect of "wow, that's my ears!" I couldn't believe it! The bedside manner non-existent. I couldn't believe such a thing would be said by a Dr. providing care. at the very least I would expect him to stop the procedure and inquire about how he could improve my comfort level or ask what was wrong - didn't happen. it didn't stop there. When I went to go check out I encountered disrespect and a condescending attitude. Save yourself!
Worst dentist ive ever been to. Totally smug and arrogant and treated me like a drug seeker. Further more did not offer bone graft which is what was ultimately necessry to save the rest of my teeth! Thank god for other dentists. Guys a typical scottsdale clown totally full of himself.
What an all around wonderful experience! I was seen right on schedule. Dr. Brittain was extremely knowledgeable and explained every procedure very well. Polly was made me feel so relaxed and comfortable and on top of that was absolute riot (excellent sense of humor you prob. wouldn't expect to find at the dentist!. She cleaned and polished my teeth to near perfection. Sylvia and the receptionists were just sweet as can be and so friendly. I would recommend this practice to anyone in a heartbeat!
Seemed aloof. Tried to push more dental procedures than I felt I needed.
Dr. Brittain has a great and friendly staff. I felt like I received a square deal with no hidden agenda. I know that each time I go here, they will be friendly, punctual, and good at what they do.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
