C. Gilberto Brito's Online Review Report Card

Can't say enough about Dr. Brito and my experience.After having 3 catheters for three months due to broken down health care in my town, I was referred to Arizona Urlology Specialists of which Dr.Brito is one of many urologists  that support this amazing clinic. I was a bit apprehensive in the beginning, but I had no choice and had to move forward. At 72 this was my first ever surgery  and  I was amazed how streamlined and efficiently it went. Dr recommended TURP procedure and I spent nite in recovery.Quote from Dr.(biggest prostate I'd ever seen).Dont put off this bothersome problem,  or take over the counter supplements that are only band aids. A few days of relaxing recovery  and I'm feeling like an 18 year old again.Thank you Dr. Brito  and your team for making making  my life whole again

Strongly suggest one stays away from Dr. Gil Brito.  Read the other one (1) star reviews.  They are correct.  He had to do my surgery twice because the first time he did not do all that was required according to what he told me when he said he had to go back in.  Dr Brito does not like you to ask questions.  He prefers to walk in the exam room, start talking and leave.  He does not want to listen to you.  Dr. Brito's staff is nearly impossible to reach by phone.  The office telephone number is answered by an out of state answering service and they will not transfer you to his office.  He over books his appointments and is always late.  There is much more that can be said; however the best thing one can take away from this message is to find another doctor as fast as you can, if you care about your medical care.

Staff is terrible. Cancelled follow up appointment without notifying me. Claimed "tried to call but could not leave message". Absolutely a lie. I had lab test performed the week before as requested. Medical Assistant called to tell me I did not have the proper lab tests needed for the appointment. What!!!...they put in the lab orders. Then blamed me for not having what was needed for the appointment. Rescheduled to tele-appointment and told me I should be grateful to have any time with Dr Brito because he is so busy. Appointment scheduled for 2 weeks/1 day from now, and I'm out of meds.

From the moment Dr. Brito walked in, I immediately could see the kindness in his eyes. I am not the easiest patient, yet Dr. Brito was knowledgeable and gentle when discussing my health issues. We all have choices on who we want as our doctor. I choose him as well as the other people in Prescott I’ve recommended him to. For those that gave him a poor review- I’m sorry you had a negative visit- perhaps it was more about You then Dr. Brito and his amazing staff. Try infusing some patience and kindness in your life and may get better results from others.

this doctor and office visit were refreshing.  he was on time, efficient, thorough, knowledgeable and concerned for my health.  the office staff was efficient answered our questions and called us back when we asked them.  very professional. the doctor did say i looked good for my 83 years of age which did not offend me.mike w.

Dr. Brito is in excellent surgeon and if you belong to Paradise valley country club you'll have excellent access to the doctor. If you don't belong to the club good luck communicating through his staff! What a mess.

This review is on behalf of my father:  "Extremely unprofessional service.  Spoke to a call center and they were very rude and would never let me speak to the actual office.  Never referred any of my messages to the doctor and hung up on me on multiple occasions.  Would never recommend them to anyone.  If I can give them 0 star, I would."

Dr. Brito saw my husband for prostate cancer. He would not answer questions and his demeanor was arrogant and extremely rude the day of the surgery. This doctor needs to learn how to be respectful to patients.

Was not impressed. Doctor acted like he has anxiety. Came in and ask me my age. He said I didn’t think you were 83 after asking my age. Had the wrong chart. Also left cell phone in office. Came back acted like I was not important just a number. Talking so fast. When I try to ask questions interrupted and told that’s not what we’re talking about several times. Had me go through procedures beforehand to be told we can’t do it because of your disease. Just wanted the money because healthcare now days has to hit quotas. I have never met someone that knows it all and you can’t ask questions. You need to slow down and show compassion and respect. I have always saw Lauren she is amazing. You should sit in with her and see how to treat patient. I will be back to see Lauren. I would never book an appointment with him again. I hope this helps other patients to stay away.
