Dan Galat's Online Review Report Card

I recently had hip replacement surgery. I want to share Dr. Daniel Galat, Dr. Ben Albert and their entire team at Renovation Orthopedics were so professional. They connected with me on a personal level from the very first visit. They provided information pre-op and post-op that helped to assure everything went smoothly which put my mind at ease. Any time I had a question or concern, they addressed it right away. Everyone in their office, from reception, to the medical assistants, to Kennedy who helped arrange everything, to Kurt their physician assistant, and Sarah their office manager, they all provided the best care possible. Dr. Galat performed the surgeries. He is a highly skilled and knowledgeable surgeon which resulted in a great outcome. I feel like I did when I was young and have the bounce back in my step. Beyond his talent, what I appreciated equally is his character. He is humble, graceful, respectful, and makes you feel so at ease. Thanks to all at Renovation Orthopedics.

Dr Galat stepped in on an urgent basis for a partial hip replacement on our 90 year old mom. In addition to his stellar surgical skills, he was compassionate, understanding and put us at ease and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend him.

Day one-out-patient and walker, but no wheelchair. Home in time for dinner. First couple of days some manageable pain. Walked every hour per Dr. Galat's instructions. Day five-got up in middle of night and walked unaided to bathroom. Forgot I had full hip replacement surgery. Day nine-drove to dance class. Danced most dances. Day fifteen-Dr. Galat gave me an A+ and clearance to resume all activities. Day twenty-played nine holes golf. Day twenty-three-Dance party! Successfully did the swing and electric slide:-) Overall experience very good.

Dr. Galat and his staff provided excellent care from start to finish. After double knee replacement and therapy , six months later back to walking 2 to 3 miles a day and at 69 years old a very happy woman .

I had knee replacement surgery one month ago. Dr. Galat was the third opinion. I am so glad I decided to go with him. He is experienced and thorough. I was very scared before the procedure and he and his staff were able to smooth things out and get me through it. The result has been excellent. Surgery and recovery have gone smoothly. He was very caring. His staff is wonderful to work with. I got prompt responses to all my questions and concerns. And, I just got home from walking my dog!

I can't say enough good things about the Dr. Galat and the team. From the initial phone call, throughout the procedure I felt not only was I in great hands but that they really cared! Dr Galat performed a total replacement of my left hip. I have never experienced care with such empathy and support! As an athletic person I was worried about losing capability and potential lasting challenges. Dr. Galat was very reassuring and boy did the team deliver! Day one, I went home with minimal pain and could walk. At 4 weeks, I couldn't be happier, I am exercising and walking 2.5miles a day... no residual issues, stiffness or pain. Thank you Dr. Galat. You and your team are an incredible blessing!

Our father-in-law fell and broke his hip and Dr. Galat was the surgeon assigned to his case. Dr. Galat was caring, listened to our situation and explained the procedure in length. We even saw him prior to going into the operating room. Just had a follow up appointment. The staff is friendly, the PA was thorough! We bumped into Dr. Galat as we were leaving. He stopped and took the time to review the follow up visit with our father-in-law! Thank you, Dr. Galat!

Dr. Galat performed my husband's partial knee replacement earlier this year. The robotic surgery Dr. Galat performs resulted in a less invasive surgery and less pain. My husband got up and walked in the recovery room! His staff in the office and surgery center were fantastic. Dr. Galat had a wonderful bedside manner and explains everything in detail. We would highly recommend Dr. Galat to anyone looking into Orthopedic surgeons.

Dr. Galat's references (Mayo clinic, years of humanitary-medical service in Kenya) are impressive. And very well deserved, IMHO. I had almost lost use of my left shoulder due to very advanced arthritis; not even able to left the arm to horizontal. Dr. Galat did shoulder replacement surgery on me. His office staff and hospital staff were very friendly, professional and helpful, and the operation went without a hitch. Now, 5 months later, the shoulder is more flexible and usable than it was even 2 years ago. I'll need to do a bit more strength rehab, and will have my shoulder back the way it was 20 years ago. Dr. Galat performed a partial hip replacement on my mother who is 89 years old. Due to her advanced age and severe osteoporosis, I was very nervous about her having to have any type of surgery. But her surgery went extremely well and she was up and walking on her hip the day after surgery with no pain. It's been about 6 months since the surgery and she still has no pain and has had no complications at all. Her new hip is working great. Both Dr. Galat and his office staff were extremely responsive to any questions following the procedure. I am beyond impressed with both his advanced surgical skills and his bedside manner. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a hip replacement. Thanks Dr. Galat!
