List of Dr John A Ebner's Reviews
The office staff here has become rude. I went to Dr Ebner for about 4 years, he never had the best bedside manner but he seemed competent and knowledgeable. I had 3 spots of skin cancer and they were dealt with. I recently noticed another spot on my arm and called to make an appointment. I was told " Oh he is not taking new patients. Its been 2 years since you have been here so that makes you a new patient. ". She then said bye and hung up the phone. I was not aware I had to check in w the dermatologist when I had no issues going on. This to me is complete BS. I will find a better dermatologist that treats people better.
I have been a patient of Dr. Ebner about 5 years. The first three, treatment was good. The last two (after a office move and added doctors at the practice) treatment has gone steadily downhill. As someone here meantioned, he is always in a rush. You are lucky to get to see him for 10 minutes. He is also doing more biopsies and fewer liquid nitrogen treatments for suspect areas. It is as if they are increasing income through more costly procedures. Couple that with major errors in their billing has driven me away.
I saw Dr. Ebdner back in 2008-09 and everything and eveeroev was great, super noniguy and exceptional doctor not to mention he personally had a glow of cleanliness around him and when you see a dermatologist, well, that's what you expect and my expectations were exceeded, had to wait a little while a few times but to me that just reassured the thoroughness!
I got into Dr Ebner today. I have been going to him for years. He sets the gold standard for Dermatologists in my opinion I am 65 and over the years I have always gone to the best Dermatologist I could find. I am so thankful to have found Dr. Ebner. He has solved a few problems for me and kept everything in prevention mode. He has given my family great care including Skin Cancer surgery for my Dad and my wife's Grandmother who lived to 103. I try to see him routinely twice a year. His staff is friendly and knowledgable and his office is clean and modern. Sometimes he is booked out pretty far, but it is worth the wait. The fist time I saw him he saved me a needless cancer surgery proposed by another office where I encountered a waiting room full of bloody, bandaged, sad patients.
Dr Ebner is my favorite doctor . I have been his patient since 2010 since my Melanoma surgery . He is so upbeat and sincerely happy . He treats his staff kindly . I absolutely love going to see him .
I went to see Dr. Ebner for a skin exam. He said that that I had 3 moles that were possible melanomas. He biopsied all 3 and they were completely normal. Now I'm left with severe scarring. On top of that, I was charged over 500 dollars for the office visit. He also tried to sell me 50 dollar sunscreen. I felt like he was trying to make money off of me and should have been able to tell me the moles were either good or bad without scarring me. I'm very disappointed.
I have been going to Ebner for a few years to have my many moles and beauty marks checked out for any unusual change. He is always so funny and friendly. His staff is so relatable and helpful. They have samples of products to try in case you have sensitive skin. Absolutely love going here!
I have been to Dr. Ebner's office several times. I have had nothing but good experiences here especially compared to other doctors I see. The staff has been efficient and the office seems to run like clockwork. Dr. Ebner is quick but pleasant and notices little things. If he sees a little pre-cancer on me he has his trusty liquid nitrogen bottle by his side and zaps it like a boss. If you have to go to a dermatologist, this is as good as it gets.
I called to schedule an appointment. The receptionist was rude and refused to assist me with healthcare insurance. She told me call back when you have it figured out. I was referred to this office and find the staff horrible and I refuse to be treated in this manner. As the saying goes, you only get one chance to make a first impression. Dr. Ebner, I suggest you call in to your office and see how potential patients are being spoken to.
He's great. He helped me with a complex condition when many other doctors couldn't. I respect him as a doctor and a person. He's professional, very knowledgable, personable, and caring – all the excellent qualities one wants and needs in a doctor!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
