List of Frank Tsai's Reviews
Dr Tsai is a wonderful doc & always available & is savvy on different methods. I was fortunate but still have to have chemo. He is soothing, and has a friendly personality and knows how to laugh!!! He is also into details & knows how to explain things at your level of understanding. However, the real rock stars are the staff. Amber a very competent front office girl. She helped me get a prescribed pain cream - at the very last moment (literally)!! Also, was able to keep me calm (because I was scared). Alex my cancer nurse. AMAZING!!! She has been a oncology nurse for 6 years & I was nervous thinking of her experience vs the nurses with many more. However, oncology has ALWAYS been her wheelhouse & every question I rolled out (pretty fast) she had an answer! She explained my labs in detail & again, knew answers to any of my questions. What I particularly loved about Alex. She was not arrogant - she asked for 2nd opinions when we came to a situation with treatment. Amanda & Suzy are also excellent & you can tell they LOVED their jobs. All 3 of them - I can't say 1 bad thing - they work as a team - you felt they actually like each other. Kristin & Joseph - they are the two that take you in back after Amber gets you checked in. They are SO important in the start of your journey-especially as it was my 1st day. I was no longer scared - because of their personalities. Strangely. It was a really fabulous experience and the whole vibe is "LET'S GO." It was such a peaceful & well lit setting - it was NOT boring or loud - you smelt LIFE!!!! I did not watch the personal movies they had - because it was just that relaxing. The air was circulating & the temp was also good. I am not one to write reviews. However, they all deserve it!
It is hard to find the words to show just how appreciative I am of Dr. Tsai and his whole team. My dad was recently diagnosed with cancer of the tonsil, and Dr. Tsai took so much time to sit with us and explain his plan of action. I asked many questions, and he answered every single one of them openly, and honestly, without making me feel like I was taking up too much of his time. His nurses and MAs have helped my parents and I along the way during this very trying time, and I am forever grateful for the care they have given these last few months.
Very kind and compassionate. Great bedside manner.
Dr Tsai has been my Oncologist for the last 5 years. He is the “best”! Always encouraging, supportive and available. I put my complete trust in his knowledge and treatment of my cancer.
My wife was diagnosed with stage four Colon cancer. After 3 months of chemo we have chosen hospice. Dr Tsai never explained the hospice option so we found our way there on our own. He is always late for appointments, wheels in a cart with a laptop, is very cold and impersonal, impossible to get on the phone with questions, and getting refills for scripts is next to impossible. The Piper Center support is non existent. The Patient Navigators do not return calls and his office staff is burly and inpatient. Would highly recommend you do not seek treatment here.
Dr. Frank Yung-Chin Tsai is exceptional in his medical knowledge, listening skills and compassion. He seriously cares about his patients. Dr. Tsai has a very calm disposition and will answer your questions and concerns. I first met him, following lung cancer surgery. Later, I was in Honor Health Shea Hospital over night for a heart concern. Dr. Tsai learned I was there and walked over from the ...
Great bedside manner. Very compassionate and very knowledgeable.
I was referred to Dr. Tsai by our internist, because my platelet count was too low to permit spinal surgery necessary to relieve severe pain. In order to minimize the risk of bleeding, my count needed to be raised normal levels. Although it was important to determine the cause of my low platelet count, the priority was to get me to the starting line so that I could have the surgery. Dr. Tsai did all of the right things from a medical point of view, but what impressed me the most in this age pre-recorded messages and impersonal medicine, was that I had good access to Dr. Tsai in real time, both directly and through his PA. They were pro-active in communicating with the surgeon (a doctor outside of the Honor Health network) and with me to make sure that the surgery could take place on schedule. It was obvious that they cared, and were committed to helping me reach my goal in a very professional and medically sound way. Access and commitment were the key - I cannot thank them enough.
Great experience, knowledgeable and caring. Explained diagnosis, prognosis and treatment throughly. I continue under his care.
He is a great doctor. My impression was that he is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor and person. I would recommend him to everyone that I meet that as a problem with their health as I has.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
