Had VERY painful experience after LA hair transplant 15 years ago. Went to Bosley Scottsdale. Explained past experience. Made it abundantly clear I was not willing to go through that level of pain again even for more hair which I needed. Was assured info. would be passed along and I'd be taken care of. Day of surgery, asked again about pain management. Was informed due to opiate crisis they were limited on what could be prescribed. They explained new protocol and assured me it would work. Fortunately it worked that time. Fast forward to yesterday. Went in for another round. However, in the evening the pain came. EXTREME PAIN. Prescriptions did not control the pain of the 10 inch incision. This morning I went for numbing injections along the incision. Unlike last time these were EXCRUCIATING. I’m known to have a high pain tolerance. I felt dismissed/like a drug seeker. The dr. later referred to morning reaction to injections as DISCOMFORT. DON'T RISK SUFFERING. SHAVE YOUR HEAD!!!

Dr. Hekimian did not perform surgery on me although he did to a family member who was extremely satisfied. But he treated my burns and under his care I healed up in 1.5 weeks shorter than the hospital thought i'd heel up. He'd check me every few days to see how I was progressing and him and his staff were very courteous and knowledgeable. I am very very satisfied with him and his staff. He was honest and told me I didn't need surgery, and I was afraid someone might say I needed surgery just to earn more money. In the hospital my doctors had said I may need surgery so was glad when he said I definitely didn't and it turns out he was correct. I would definitely recommend him to family/friends.

incredibly rude--impossible for my wife to ask any questions--does not explain well the surgery or what to expect later--is very cold but we think overall he is a good doctor with absolutely no personality or ability to communicate with you--the staff seems scared to death of him

Dr. Hekimian ruined my breasts. He left me with huge scars after all his sutures came undone and caused my areolas to stretch and double in size. I had a pinched nerve, a blood clot, a muscle attached to the implant causing rippling and a uni-boob. I was in pain for two months and couldn't go back to work. He butchered me. After everything healed, he had the audacity to tell me he thought my now four inch areolas with centre meter scars around them looked better than my natural breasts that were perfectly fine before. The experience was horrible. I've since had another surgery to fix what he did, but my breasts will never be the same.

Dr. Hekimian and his staff are probably the most uncaring, unsanitary, rude and incompetent group of humans on earth. He ego is far larger than his ability to care for patients. He is barbaric in his treatment!
