Absolutely do not recommend. Does not know what he is talking about and very poor communication skills and bedside manner. I’m shocked Mayo has a doctor like this on staff.

I get pneumonia once a month very literally. Instead of wanting to know why or trying to understand my extensive health history he told me he would see me in six months. It still happens to me and this was one of my last hopes with such a reputation. Doesn’t care for the individual especially if you don’t have an easy case.

I am here today to write this because Dr. Vasar was my Knight in shining armour. making sure i saw a wonderful rheumatologist(Dr.Griffing) when my illness was a mystery he did so much for me and every day i am grateful. he may not show it often but he has a heart of gold . his staff at mayo was wonderful and when your deathly ill having things go smoothly with no added stress is a blessing. A brilliant man. It has not been recent that i saw him my time in his care was in 2012

Although I was somewhat anxious and apprehensive about my visit with Dr. Vaszar and what he might have to say to me about my condition, he and his nurse quickly made me feel at ease . He seemed eager to help me in any way that he could and his fund of knowledge was great . This of course gave me calm and peace of mind. Ultimately, I was very pleased with my visit to Mayo and Dr. Vaszar and would recommend him highly to any of my patients, friends or family if ever the need. So thank you once again for the care and humane way in which I was treated. Dr. R. Parker
