I have had RA since the early 80's. And when it changed, my RA doctor fussed around for over 8 months, and could not figure out what was wrong. I finally made an appointment with the Mayo Clinic, with Dr. Mertz and within 20 minutes he diagnosed me with Rheumatoid Vasculitis . But unfortunately the damage was done by then. Dr. Mertz then started treatment. I am still recovering, but if it were not for Dr Mertz, I am sure I would have died. Wonderful doctor.
