Excellent surgeon! I have a rare joint disorder and he performed a TKR for me. His staff and the entire process went seemlesly and I am well on the mend and recovering nicely. Highly recommend him for your joint replacement!!

Dr. Seidel is a true professional and a caring Orthopedic surgeon. He answered all of my questions. No waiting time in the office before my appointments. The entire team at HonorHealth Orthopedic-Shea is awesome.

I wrenched my knee 6 months ago so when I saw a webinar hosted by Dr Seidel, I decided to make an appointment with him for an evaluation. His staff and office were very pleasant and helpful. They took X-rays before I saw him. He was very kind and showed me just what my knee looked like and why I had pain. He told me that I had several options, a cortisone shot being the best. It is wonderful to be free of pain and I do appreciate Dr Seidel’s expertise. When I need orthopedic help in the future, he will be my physician/surgeon.

Dr.Seidel is an amazing Dr. He has excellent bedside manors. He replaced my right hip in 2017, hie did an excellent job. I would recommend him to any and everyone looking for an Orthopedic Dr.

Dr. Matthew Seidel performed surgery July 2018 for my right knee replacement after I was injured in an accident. I had to wait until 3 months after I had surgery on my back and rehab.I was in excruciating pain in my right knee until my knee replacement. I’d wake up every night in so much pain, I felt like I wanted my leg cut off at the knee! I know that sounds drastic!Dr Seidel and his staff took every precaution to make sure I was physically healthy to have surgery so I had to have several tests to be cleared for surgery. Dr. Seidel explained everything to me about my surgery, recovery time if I followed all my post op instructions, especially physical therapy and my daily exercises that were my responsibility.I wanted to have the best outcome and become completely mobile again without pain or walking with a cane.During my recovery in physical therapy I noticed I was dragging my left foot and my gait was off, I wasn’t standing up straight and walking on the modified treadmill that supported a portion of a person’s body weight while walking slowly.I felt this issue needed to be addressed during my post op recovery appointment. Dr. Seidel had an immediate solution to help in my recovery. He asked me to follow him to a doctor that was part of their practice. He introduced me to Dr. Charles MacDonald, who is a chiropractor with their medical group. Dr. Seidel explained my progress since surgery and referred to me as “his poster patient” because I was ahead of schedule in my recovery but needed help checking my alignment, hips all the way up including my neck. He left me in good hands and wanted a progress report. Dr. Charles MacDonald was very thorough with my history and asked if I’d ever been to a chiropractor. I had but didn’t care for having my neck adjusted. He showed me his tool he used to adjust his patients and how it worked so I agreed I wanted him to treat me. He knew about my kypoplasty surgery on my back. I have to say after the first treatment I noticed a difference, 2 days later I had a 2nd appointment and was feeling hopeful. After my 3rd appointment he had me standing up straight and walking. I continued my treatment with him as my gait was improved, my hips didn’t hurt and most of all I wasn’t leaning and putting all my weight on my right knee.Dr. Seidel continued to check my recovery progress and finally gave me the ok to get back into the pool to walk only! No swimming yet. I soon understood why he said no swimming yet but it felt good to be able to walk in the pool after I did my knee exercises to loosen up. I’ve recovered 100% and have no problems with my knee replacement! I researched other Dr’s in the valley and even though I live in Sun City, I chose Dr. Matthew Seidel and drove to Scottsdale for my appointments. I wanted him to do my surgery. I have no regrets!Dr. Matthew Seidel is a skilled Surgeon, he’s confident, patient and communicates everything what to expect from start to finish and I totally trust him. His staff is wonderful and they are top notch!As I was writing this long review, his nurse called me to schedule my left knee replacement in February. I know it has been 3 1/2 years since my right knee was replaced and it feels 100%! I am not nervous about my upcoming surgery. I know I’ll be in good hands with Dr. Matthew Seidel. I’ve wanted to write a review for a long time so thank you for the opportunity! Sorry if it’s so long!

Best doctor and office ever. Always a great experience with Dr.Seidel and his staff. So friendly, great bedside manner & super helpful. It has been almost two years since my surgery and I have felt the same way about Dr.Seidel since day 1. Highly recommend!

Tha office staff is friendly and professional and Dr. Seidel take the time for all your questions. I feel very confident in the care I receive there.
