Mayo Clinic's Online Review Report Card

My name is Robert. My wife has congestive heart failure and we live in California. After 2 years of being bounced around in the medical issues and not getting the proper help we needed .. we called mayo clinic in Phoenix az and told them our problems not once but like 4 times to make sure we were making the right decision. They told us how bad they felt how she was being treated in ca and to come to mayo .. we dont turn anyone away and have people who will help get her on insurance that mayo clinic takes and we are a great place for heart patients .. so I quit my job a few days ago scrounged up my change and got to az yesterday ... I went to mayo clinic we went to the emergency room and the Dr said she would refer her to the mayo clinic heart specialist Team there ... when the registration guy came in he signed her up for az medicaid ..  but mayo clinic does not take state medicaid she would have to pay out of pocket to be treated at mayo clinic .. if anyone who knows a good attorney that can help me get my girl help email  me please  email me at <a href=mailtocormierjrrgmail.com>cormierjrrgmail.com<a>

All I know is I love the Mayo Clinic. It has been there for me. I see these other people whining about The appointment times and the speed of Emplyees But what they dont know is people have to stand in line. and a guy talks about no one calling him back He needs to call them back instead of giving the credit they deserve for being wonderful

I do not know how that place functions. It is obviously a money factory.Since I started dealing with the Mayo Clinic more than a year ago I have never. Not once. Had a return call when the schedulers promised they would call.12 times. Not once. Not even close.

Nice and knowledgable doctors technicians and staff. HORRIBLE BILLING DEPARTMENT Balance billing cancer patients...thats one way to make a quick buck if thats all you care about now.

I called on 1021 to get an appointment for some health issues Im having that my primary care doctor hasnt been able to help so I was grasping at straws and called Mayo because of their reputation. The receptionist said that I could get an appointment took all my information including insurance. Then she asked me why I wanted the appointment after I described the problems her reply was Im sorry but we are very busy. We cant give you an appointment I was stunned. Im sure Mayo is busy because of the Covid if she had said they werent taking new appointments because of that I would have understood. But telling me they were very busy was stunning to say the least. This is the famous Mayo clinic care????? I wouldnt recommend them to anyone ever again I thought their job was to help not be too busy to see a patient. Thanks for nothing Mayo

October 21 2021 Ive been having health issues not resolved with my regular doctor so I contacted Mayo Clinic hoping they could help me. The receptionist took my information my health information etc. and then asked what the symptoms were. I explained the problems and after a pause she says to me unfortunately we are very busy and cannot give you an appointment I was stunned. Arent they supposed to help people??? What is this choose only those with certain kinds of insurance??? For its reputation I was even more disappointed and wonder where they got their reputation since they dont seem to be interested in helping people. I understand being busy and didnt expect to get an appointment the next day I figured Id have to wait but being told they are too busy never occurred to me. Very disappointed and question their reputation.

This place is amazing and so efficient  The doctors where attentive and listened.  Did not pre judge and put my mother in an age category.  This place should be the example for all hospitals.

Mayo may have just laughed in my face I was recently diagnosed with Lyme disease. I did 28 days of doxycycline prescribed by my general practitioner. My GP sent a referral to Mayo as Im still having a long list of issues. There admin from Mayo called and said internal doctors reviewed my case and said I was treated appropriately. ...and that was it Rejected

Less than 24 hours after having an appointment consultation during which we were told to send all of our medical records to be reviewed we received an autoreject email. Why even bother scheduling an appointment consultation and getting our hopes up? Still trying to get diagnosed 2 months after a serious hospitalization but I guess we arent interesting enough for Mayo Clinic.
