I did design work in the residences and the owner stopped paying. After many emails back and forth with he and staff, still nothing. He owes close to 5k and has simply stated “he doesn’t have it.”
My amazing 98-year-old grandma spent 7 months at Valencia. We and Grandma fell in love with a few of the caregivers, so this shout-out is to Viky, Jazmin, and Jeraldine! Grandma (GG) wasn't easy but they all came around to her and got their "boops" on the nose and "pats" of appreciation. The caregivers are really what makes the place and these 3 ladies were exemplary in their care for our GG.
I don't post reviews too often, especially when I am having issues with a business. I would rather work it out directly with the business. However, I am at a loss on what to do. My mom moved in to one of their facilities in June of LAST YEAR. Due to a series of falls and dementia, she was in need of a group home care setting. This seemed like the perfect option when we toured. My only concern was the level of physical care needed by other residents and if she would fit in. They assured me that I should give it 90 days and if we weren't happy, we could move on. The very next month, they charged rent twice. We never did get the mobile prescription service set up right. They wouldn't help me with mobile physicians because "THEIR" person wasn't on her insurance. I had to pick up prescriptions at all hours - on a couple of occassions they told me she was out for the next morning at 8p. The list goes on. When I told them, we were not happy, they indicated that the home manager resigned, the house was undergoing changes, things would get better, they would take her on outings, they were bringing a church in, etc. Please give them 30 more days. We did that. The only thing they did with her was take her on a walk, but she wasn't even allowed to sit outside. At the end of the 30 days I gave them, we gave notice. Upon move out, none of the staff would even say goodbye to her. It was very sad. I left in tears for my mom. I have yet to receive the double rent nor the remainder of my deposit. I finally got a hold of someone in March. I had been completely ignored for several months. She indicated that all the staff I previously worked with was no longer with the company and the house was completely restaffed, so it made sense that I wasn't getting a response. She assured me she would get resolution. She is ignoring me now too. Beware.
Short story.... my mom was here for four months. I was concerned about the differences in abilities between other residents and her fitting in. They assured me at 90 days, we could move on and not forfeit deposit. Fast forward - they never did anything they promised. No mobile care because I couldn't choose THEIR mobile provider. Even when I found my own, they wouldn't help and made me attend every appt. No prescriptions delivered so I had to run get them at all hours of the night. She would miss pills and become confused and disoriented. They charged me twice for rent one month. I still haven't seen that check (coming on a year now of me trying). I get a hold of someone finally to find out all staff replaced. She assures me resolution. But now I am being ignored again. I have held off and held off posting a review but I do not know what else to do. Lawyers, ombudsmen, and 3 on your side next.... Beware
Beware of this place. New personnel took over in the last 60 days. My mother passed due to their incompetency. My wife and I saw residents wanting water and the staff would ignore them. Staff was angry when my mother who had Alzheimer’s became belligerent. They wanted to over medicate her to make her a complaint zombie. I was in the process of wanting to move her and it ended up being too late. This disorganized company is more interested in profits over people. The operations director is a real peach. It’s beneath her to return your phone calls. Most of the staff can’t stand her and were always disparaging about her which is something you don’t tell a POA.
I Came looking for a job and received an opportunity for a wonderful career. Come work for a company who invests in their employees !!
My 88 year old mom with extremely limited mobility is living at The Valencia House. It was hard to let her go, but 24/7 was mandated. The caregivers/ staff are polite and kind and I've always found mom, neat, clean and as engaged as she wants to be. Thank you for taking good care of a sweet, little elderly lady .. it means the world to our family!
I am a healthcare worker that visits many group homes and I wouldn't hesitate to move a family member here. The staff is excellent and very attentive. Jessica the manager is on top of everything with each resident. She communicates with me with any patient needs. The home is beautiful and extremely clean, but it's the staff that truly makes the place special.
My mother lives at The Valencia Home. She has been there for almost two years and is very well cared for. With a maximum of ten residents and two care givers on duty there is lots of personal attention. Having all women residents also works out very well. We highly recommend The Valencia Home!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
