I worked for Carefree Homecare, for 11 years, as a vendor with Pueblo Norte. I fell in love with the place, and my Husband and I decided if we ever needed a senior Care Community, it would be Pueblo'... Unfortunately, my Husband broke his hips, and we had to sell our home, and move somewhere. We chose Pueblo Norte'. We new of many places, but because of the resident-culture, and Wonderful staff, we opted for Pueblo. I live directly across from the heated pool, and we used it daily. The food, Sunday Brunches are complimentary, and Happy Hours are amazing, with Jo Smith (Activities Director) doing her best to get great entertainment! I have lived here 10 years now, and am 90 years old, and still would recommend Pueblo to any, and all seniors to come TOUR. I even show my apartment, to show off my decorating skills! Best of the Best!!

We recently came to know Pueblo Norte and the staff, specifically Stuart, when looking for a senior living community for an extended family member. We have looked at a couple of these communities in Arizona, but really wanted something close to our home in North Scottsdale without paying the exorbitant charges some of them require. How pleasantly surprised we were to find Pueblo Norte at an affordable price and in Scottsdale! Stuart was immensely helpful from the start. He is concise and knowledgeable about the community and had referrals and recommendations ready for almost every outside service we could think of. We could tell from the initial walkthrough and consultation that the residents are active, happy, and engaging and the staff is as well. We were impressed with the size and finishes of the independent living apartments. They are spacious, yet cozy and inviting which was so important to us since our family member was moving from his home of 25 years to somewhere completely new. We felt comfortable leaving him with the inviting staff and lively community residents.

Great living community. The management team is so easy to work with and collaborative. Stuart is so focused on the total well being of the residents, finding relationships that support them in every way.

Exceptional Assisted Living Community with a Bright Future! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve had the pleasure of working with the team at Pueblo Norte of Scottsdale, AZ for some time no and I must say, they have truly created an exceptional assisted living community. From the moment I stepped in you meet Lindsey and Denise, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that enveloped the place. From the Director of Sales Stuart Roush who gave us a wonderful tour and Tieg Bargar, Executive Director who took the time to answer our questions the genuine care and dedication to their residents were evident, making it clear that this is a place where seniors can truly thrive and feel at home. The amenities and services offered at Pueblo Norte are top-notch. The facilities are well-maintained, clean, and designed to promote comfort and independence. The range of activities and social events available keeps the residents engaged and enriched, fostering a sense of community and friendship among them. What excites me the most is their upcoming memory care program. I am very pleased with this facility and staff. I have been a placement agent with Premier Senior Placement Services for 6+ years, and it is very important to me to work with trustworthy assisted living communities. Stuart Roush toured with myself and 2 clients last week and it didn’t take long for us all to feel like we were in the right place. He listened to all of our needs, met every question with compassion and patience, and really made us feel comfortable and cared for. Stuart made sure we knew everything about his community and that it was a good fit for my clients before we toured. Our mother joined the Pueblo Norte senior living community 8 years ago, moving from her home where she had lived since 1969. Needless to say, this was a very big change for her and for us, her family. Thanks to Pueblo’s wonderful staff, the whole transition was smooth and well-coordinated and we all felt so very welcome. Mom’s new home in Pueblo’s independent living apartments was exactly what we had hoped for. With all of the amenities, the fabulous staff, the friendly residents, the resort-like ambiance and Pueblo’s proximity to family, we felt we had made the perfect choice. Mom has made so many friends and has developed a strong sense of belonging. We have peace of mind regarding her health, safety, comfort and well-being. Mom was able to take her daily morning walks, like she had always done before she moved, and has become quite well known for that among the Pueblo residents and staff. Recently, she has come to need assistance on a more regular and comprehensive basis. With mom’s input, we decided it was time for her to move from Pueblo Norte’s independent living to Pueblo’s assisted living apartments. Again, Pueblo staff helped make this another very smooth and timely transition. Mom is happy among friends and has new available daily activities. She enjoys the group exercise sessions, pet visits, musical guest entertainers, and so much more. The level of care she has received from staff members is incredible. We highly recommend Pueblo Norte.

If you have read any of my other reviews, you know I can be critical and leave bad reviews where I feel they are deserved. However, in the case of Pueblo Norte, I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! I have a friend living at Pueblo Norte and she invited me to have lunch with her and show me around. While taking me on an "unofficial tour" without any representatives of management present, she introduced me to her friends in every area we visited. Her friends were all laughing, having a good time, and enjoying each other's company. I asked some of the residents I met if they liked living at Pueblo Norte and if there was anything they didn't like about the place. To my surprise, no one had anything negative to say. I know that older adults can tend to be grumpy and enjoy complaining even over minor annoyances but I could not coax a bad word about Pueblo Norte from any of the residents I met. This was very unusual! I was impressed! Having lunch in the dining room was also impressive. I expected the usual quality of institutional food. Instead, the variety of choices and fresh quality was great. The staff in the dining room were attentive and efficient like you would expect if you were eating in a 5-star restaurant. Some of the other residents in the dining room recognized I was a visitor and took the time to come over to our table just to meet me and introduce themselves. I am not used to having anyone in a room full of strangers just walk up to me to meet me and say "Hello!" Even in hallways, people would greet me instead of just passing silently. The residents here are truly friendly. This is the place I would like to be when I need independent living senior care or assisted living senior care.

The culinary and dining team at Pueblo Norte is the best! If I could replicate them across all of Five Star I would in a heartbeat. The team is passionate about what they do and they truly care about the residents. Plus, they are about to get a full kitchen and dining room renovation in independent living!

I recently attended an EVENT hosted by The Sales Director, Stuart. It was a “Sneak-Peek” regarding their Memory Care Unit, which is opening this Fall. It was amazing; from the Food, the fantastic wine, & most importantly, the discussion about the Montessori Model utilized with Dementia-Care Residents in their Memory Care. Stuart was cognizant of every detail, & the supportive TEAM at Pueblo, were all in attendance! The hospitality given to Professionals & Prospects alike, and going the extra mile for Seniors and their Adult Children, that are seeking out Senior Living options, is beyond “top-notch”! Go visit, and tour the “BTR Unit”, to see the cutting-edge accommodations for people living with Dementia, for yourselves : )
