Simonmed Imaging - Thompson Peak's Online Review Report Card

Receptionist is exceptional!!!Would hire her in my medical office in a second.The tec I thought was great initially but derided me because I could not stay perfectly still during survey. I have spinal nerve damage and cannot stay perfectly still.Usually Simon med is pain in butt to deal with scheduling and mediocre in office (compared to SMIL) but this time better.I go there only because my the mri radiologist reports are preferred by my treating physicians.

SimonMed has been fantastic! I’m a snowbird here in AZ and I needed an MRI on low back and left hip. My doctor first recommended SMIL. Well after waiting over 2 weeks to get in, they call me the DAY BEFORE the scheduled procedure to tell me they are not in my network! 😡That led me to SimonMed. I called them on a Friday, and they got me in the following Monday!They have also been very forthcoming in giving me my requested copy of results!! The young office girl at Thompson Peak was as kind as she could be, and the phone help as well. I am SO thankful for SimonMed!!!

My MRI was canceled three times due to errors. Simon med's customer service reps took down my birthdate incorrectly, and entered incorrect insurance information. Because Simon Med was unable to communicate with my doctor's office, I had another appointment canceled after I had travelled to your office. Your people couldn't agree on how much I should be billed....$600 vs. $1500. I have little confidence regarding your abilities on the customer service side. On the other hand, Alex the tech was outstanding and I was very appreciative of that.

The staff was wonderful however the MRI machine was terrible. It was so hot inside the tube it was extremely uncomfortable. This was a terrible experience. I was advised that I could rebook with a larger machine but I am in pain and did not want to wait. I am sorry I didn’t wait. Worst experience ever.

Got my apt very quickly. The tech was great and no waiting. The annoyance was that when I made my apt (and subsequent communications regarding reminders, etc) did not give a street address. You are referred to the online site which does not show a location at Thompson Peak Pkwy and Scottsdale rds. Since there is a hospital and medical office building at Thompson Peak Pkwy and Scottsdale rds I went there to search for Simon Med. Calling Simon Med and choosing "location" gets a message to go to the web site. When I finally got someone on the phone (had to choose the "make an apt" choice) I was given the address as Deer Valley Rd.This was a totally unnecessary frustration (and caused me to be a bit late for my apt). All you have to do is provide the actual address.

All the staff were great and extremely professional. The tech performing my MRI was very sweet and kind. We were from out of town and they were able to work me in before my original appointment time. This place was great to work with!

I was at this place for in MRI the person who did the MRI on me hardly comunique with me, the other wire thing and don’t know if this is normal but she kept me on the machine for about 40 minutes as I said I don’t know if it takes that long for MRI Thoracic mid back, she never said a word to me why was taking so long but I started to worried.

competent staff without a doubt but horribly understaffed with only 2 people ahead if me I had to wait an hour and a half for simple xrays.

I always have problems with Simonmed. Scheduling is difficult. Yesterday they were 35 minutes late for my MRI and the tech put me in without ear protection. That could have destroyed my hearing.
