Stephanie Lindauer's Online Review Report Card

Dr Lindauer comes across as very sweet, but in my case it was merely medicine by the numbers. The office staff is lovely and fery friendly, as long as you have no questions or issues. Maybe the root of the problem is with Piper Center, itself, but I do not feel I have ever gotten individual care. I have asked questions on several occasions and expressed a desire to discuss my Oncological drugs. I have not been given options or other meds to take, no was Dr. Lindauer interrested in discussing my concerns. I was just told that the side effects of my pills were "my new normal". When pressed for conversation, she actually patted my knee and left without offering any conversation or options for my treatment or response to my distress. Additionally Piper center employs a "social worker" whom, I would understand, would be of assistance in helping you find support, support groups, and/or some mental health referrals. She is apparently colecting a salery for nothing as the Piper center has none of those things and it surprises me greatly that they have none of the tools that other Cancer centers provide as routine. I'm extremely disappointed in this lack of care and when called out on a couple occasions the Social worker and staff have made it clear that they are in the business only of treating Cancer and not in providing support for patients or their families. That is a shame. I have moved my care to another Oncology practice in the same area of Scottsdale and THEY have both Navigators and Social Workers/Therapist to assist in helping the WHOLE woman in the struggles that breast cancer entails and in full-spectrum support. I have said it before. Shame on this supposedly Renowned Cancer Treatment Center for having very few tools in their toolbox. Piper Centers directors and managers need to understand that they should able to provide options and not Pidgeon-holed medicine. I wonder how many women, less able to advocate for themselves than I, just quietly curl up and accept this lack-luster care and palpable disinterest.

I have been seeing Dr. Lindauer for a year now. I'm so glad my breast surgeon Dr. Naomi Sigalove recommended her. She is very compassionate about her patients. She works with all of my other Doctors to insure that I received the best possible care. She never rushed me through a visit and answered all of my questions. Her staff is awesome to. From the front desk to the treatment area. I can't tell you enough how wonderful everyone really is. I will miss everyone in the office when my treatment is over.

I have been seeing Dr. Lindauer for over 12 months and my experience has been incredibly positive. From front office staff to patient care, everyone in her office has been welcoming, responsive, and professional. Dr. Lindauer is a compassionate and caring person. I have never felt rushed for a moment during our visits and she always gives me her full undivided attention. I have the upmost confidence in her understanding of my diagnosis and treatment, and without any reservations would recommend her for cancer care.

Being diagnosed with breast cancer is a scary thing, but having the right care team definitely makes the journey easier. I highly recommend Dr. Lindauer for a medical oncologist. Our first visit with her was wonderful. She explained every aspect of my diagnosis, the treatment I would potentially have and referred me to my wonderful surgeon. She never rushed us during our visit and answered every single question. Her staff was equally compassionate and made it a point to get to know us, not just as patients but as a friend. Dr. Lindauer has kept in close contact with us every step of the way which I greatly appreciate!!
