List of Vafa Matin Do's Reviews
I had a terrible experience with Dr Matin. He made up his mind about my medical condition within the first 5 minutes of my visit and did not want to hear anything from me. I could not even finish my sentence without him interrupting and correcting me. Increased and changed all of medications within only two visits causing me extreme anxiety and insomnia. Save yourself a lot of grief and do not go to see him.
I’ve seen Dr. Matin for years at this point. His office is such a mess. Takes forever to do anything and everything most of the time. He’s missed one of my appointments entirely saying he assumed I’d be there in person and didn’t know why I wasn’t. After his front desk told they only had virtual appointments. He’s been an hour late to multiple appointments. And he doesn’t listen. I stayed with him because he had my records already, was nearby, and offered OMM which is what I wanted at the time. He led me astray with a chronic illness I had been dealing with for years. He had me on an ungodly amount of methocarbamol. When I went to the pain specialist they were blown away by the amount he had prescribed me rather than referring me out for specialized treatment. He even argued with me when I requested to be referred somewhere specific. I’ve recently switched PCPs. 4C medical group even told me this office is embarrassing. So there’s that too. 2 stars for the OMM.
I am surprised there's not A huge number of malpractice suites. This is a business which is only concerned about getting more $$ for Patient visits and mis diagnosis so they can milk the insurance companies.
He is always in a hurry and don’t listen to patients. He know what’s best for the patients as they are all The same like cookie cutters
Very knowledgeable with my health concerns and explains my lipids results in a way i can understand. He really does all he can to get your health issues resolved and balanced. but most of all he can be trusted, that is why I'm leaving a review today.
Would not recommend this doctor to anyone, ever. I was a caregiver for a 45 year old man with terminal brain cancer (has since passed away). Matin's treatment for pain included massages, which up to four times a month, with no relief. He refused to provide a letter to the AZ Grand Jury to excuse a man who had cognitive issues and was unable to speak (Aphasia) and paralysis so he could not write. His neurologist *Barrows* had to write the letter. He should not practice medicine.
DR matin is such ignorance DR i have eber seen in my entire life and he is all about money not about helping patient and if you go to them for any pain and ask to send you to specials he doesnt do it and just try fix the problem for something he has no knowledge so he can get you back to him to make money out of you hardly wouldnt recommend him to any one
Awful staff and awful dr. Oh and if you request your medical records they will charge you. They also collect your copay up front and also try to collect it again by sending you a bill. Keep your receipts!
Great Dr. Very dependable and personable. Spends quality time with patients.
Doctor demonstrated terrible bedside manner and poor listening skills. I received a harsh and inaccurate diagnosis after a 5-10 minute visit before he rushed out of the office. I do not recommend this doctor if you have physical or mental concerns related to anxiety or depression.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
