I've been going here for a few years by a recommendation from a co-worker. Brandon, Rhonda and Lauren have made my experience more than favorable.My TMS tech Brandon was very professional, thorough and I believe that I received the best treatment possible! Highly recommend this office

The nurse who prescribed my medication, who is not a doctor, liked to hear herself talk and make wild guesses as to what I might’ve been dealing with and therefore what medication I should be taking. She claimed she didn’t think I was dealing with things I had been diagnosed by a certified psychologist who was much more qualified than her. Lacking professionalism and very basic care for patients, the medication she prescribed didn’t even help me.

Currently a patient here. Appointments are NEVER on time, and never have been, and that's if the staff remembers to schedule you in.You'd expect a doctor who requires you to sign a form agreeing to never be a minute late would be on time and on top of things. PLEASE Don't waste your time here.

WOW! I can't believe the incredible level of customer service I received here! I had an issue with my booking and Eryssa at the front desk was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful! Arlene took my vitals and she was so personable. It truly felt like all my needs were taken care of while being in a comforting and family atmosphere. Dr. Valbuena is truly one of a kind and was so informative and helpful with my issues. I really appreciate all the hard work this office puts forth with my issues and I encourage others that are looking for a place that's understanding and respectful to see Dr. Valbuena!

Becoming a new patient, I was put in a room with a man ALONE to answer questions. Ex police officer who admitted to using confiscated drugs, I'm not sure how this was possibly supposed to make me feel safe. Dr Valbuena recommended group therapy where I had nothing in common with the people who were all addicts/alcoholics, I am not. I was required to give urine samples weekly or anytime they wanted, it made me feel like a child, untrusted, but I did it and finally voiced that I didn't like it after giving it a chance. I was treated with a manner of respect by Dr Valbuena initially and when my husband was present, but when I came alone I was dealt with like I had no idea what was going on if I was distressed, if I was crying he was not compassionate, I once apologized for being a difficult patient because he was not speaking, I was feeling depressed and therefore unnecessarily guilty, the silence after this sentence was making me uncomfortable, then he replied "it's not your fault". That was not a professional response and ended our relationship. The front staff also have a problem with relaying ACCURATE information, I was constantly having to correct information to and from the doctor and I was treated so rudely by one I was informed I should ask specifically to not speak to her. I went to this office for long enough to try options I wasn't comfortable with and overall they are not respectful of you as a patient. This may be a fit for an addict who wants to be treated with a lax attitude because they have to have a long term relationship with group therapy or someone who won't admit they are using so they can't be trusted, but I want to be taken seriously and treated professionally so I can function. More importantly, I need to feel like my gender doesn't elicit a dismissive response if my husband isn't present to confirm I'm telling the truth.

Dr. Valbuena and his staff provide me with outstanding Care. I have been a patient of Dr. Valbuena for 3 or 4 years and I highly recommend him. I have referred family members to Dr. V. His office is just off Bell Road and the 101, so it's easy to get there, it's beautiful, and I never have to wait more than a few minutes past my appointment time to see him. Most visits he is on-time or early. JS

I would avoid "Dr" Valbuena at all costs!  He's dangerous.  My son went to see him for depression/addiction and he wrote 4 prescriptions within 5 minutes of the first appointment!  None of which worked.  On a follow up appointment he didn't even remember him or what he prescribed.  I was a patient as well and he is disgusting.  Not sure how he is still practicing.  He is allll about making money ... that's it.   Message me for more information.

I love my Doctor. everything about this place is awesome I always feel like my voice is being heard, and the staff were actually listening. It's a very inviting and I never have to wait when my appointment is scheduled.
