List of Geoffrey Cornelsen's Reviews
Dr. Cornelsen was very accommodating. He listened carefully, explained what was the cause of the problem, prescribed tests and followed up. In the follow up, he gave us options as to what could be done. He was very knowledgeable regarding my situation.
He was helpful, answered my questions and did not hurry me through the appointment
Dr. Cornelson was a patient oriented, very professional doctor. He gave me an honest appraisal of my rotator cuff condition and after a few months of physical therapy and a two injections we decided together on surgery. He was able to do even more than we expected. My shoulder is now highly functional.
This provider was very insulting towards me. I have diabetes and am currently trying to manage this through diet and weight loss; however, before even asking me about my success or progress, he proceeds to make comments to me such as "if you loose weight, then maybe your fracture will heal faster." I have lost over 150+ lbs so far, and am very proud of myself. I wasn't there to discuss my weight or other medical conditions. I was there for some guidance on what my options were as to my fracture. I did not want to get hurt...I fell, and was injured. What do normal people do when they are hurt - seek out medical attention. I went to this physician, as they are the only in the community. I am a customer - paying for a service, and the service was VERY poor. To add to his insults, his behaviors were also demeaning; when he came into the room to greet me, he actually threw the sling at me. I should have left at that point. Why did I deserve this type of treatment. No wonder so many people go outside of Kingman to have their medical needs met.
Saw him because I was having a left Knee issue, kept swelling up every now and again. First time It wasn't really bothering me by the time I saw him, treated me like I was there for drugs (opioids I presume). Months later came back, knee was swollen this time, so figured I would be treated better. Nope, treated me like a druggy looking for some pain killers or something else, Loved telling me I was fat and wouldn't fit in an MRI machine. Plus, he very much seemed in a hurry to jump from NOT really doing anything, or trying to eliminate other possibilities... straight to surgery!! I ditched this BAD excuse for a Doctor and "IMMEDIATELY" found a GREAT Orthopedic Doctor in Henderson, NV... thank GOD that I did too.... "would NEVER see this sad excuse for a doctor and NEVER would recommend him either... STAY AWAY, You've been Warned!!!
Excellent Dr and awesome staff. Friendly and courteous. No problems with scheduling or any other issues. I would go back to him in a heartbeat.?? Takes time and answers all your questions and concerns.
Very condescending tones did not take our concerns seriously
My daughter is disabled and he was so open and understanding. He's very polite and asked if we had any questions. He listened to our situation and explained everything to us in a easily understood way. Thank you Dr.cornelsen
Our experience with Dr. Geoff Cornelson was nearly fatal, a fumbled surgery, a nearly lethal cocktail of dangerous drugs, discharged to home without orders or instructions followed by a protracted cover-up including the redaction from medical records (x5) at KRMC of the identityof the preop nurse who administered the drugs. Upon discharge from KRMC, family noted patient was indeed drugged and made inquiries via cellphone (x4} from the KRMC parking lot, the KRMC Nursing Directors Office denying that any dangerous drugs had been administered to the patient, three other contacts actually denied that the patient had been seen at KRMC. By 10:00 PM the patient had deteriorated, four seconds between breaths and 64\47 blood pressure, and was rushed by family to a nearby ED where the Emergency Physician twice called KRMC requesting the identity of the drugs administered, KRMC declined to identify the drugs or confirm that the patient was seen. The Physician then faxed a formal Medical Records request, KRMC declined to respond. The cocktail of dangerous drugs included opiates, this wreckless attitude with dangerous drugs as well as the obfuscation of the chain of custody of the drugs is almost beyond belief, KRMC is a truly dangerous facility.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
