I see him for my diabetes and he is ALWAYS informative and gives me options instead of telling me what I HAVE to do. He takes notes and goes over the previous visit and then gives me things we did the time before and makes suggestions for medication and diet. He is always friendly and knowledgeable and his assistant has been very professional and asks questions and has been able to answer any questions I have had.

This is the best doctor on the mountain by far in my own opinion. He and his staff are extremely caring and amazing people. He listens and tries to find the best way to help. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great caring and professional doctor. Dr jake oman is your guy.

Dr. Oman is wonderful! So open, candid and encouraging, celebrating small successes with me as I work towards my health goals. He is supporting my methods, rather than censor me with traditional, western medicinal methods. I have been in the situation in which I have reported successes to doctors only to be told I’m doing it wrong or even worse, that my successes are invalid because of the method I chose. Dr. Oman is supportive, without being condescending, and listens to my opinions, and seems to respect my self knowledge. This is rare.

Dr. Oman is incredible. He is probably the best Physicians I have ever seen, let alone on the mountain. He has a background in Surgery and is extremely knowledgable in many areas. We recommended all of our friends and family to him and so far everyone has switched and agrees that he is amazing!

FYI, Dr. Oman is now in Show Low, AZ I would be very cautious...this is a rush you through, talk over you type, After my first visit there were 10 errors in my summary, in all fairness some could have been caused by his MA. the second visit produced only 2 errors in my summary so this is an improvement, I suppose. Although my condition is not life threatening, I do require and expect some support from my doctor and still have not received it. He does not seem to want to take the time to listen, giving me the impression he just doesn't want to bother with an old lady and her complaints. Hopefully this will change with another visit or two. But I do advise to be wary.
