List of Osaf Ahmed's Reviews
This doctor is awful. He tells at patients and then doesn't want to treat complex problems. He would rather dump you as a patient than treat.
Might take a bit to get an appointment however, professional, caring and friendly staff. Dr. Ahmed isvery intelligent & wonderful.
Terrible customer service. Not send prescriptions to pharmacy after 2 weeks of faxing from pharmacy and me personally going into the office asking for it and me calling several times.I don't feel the front office or office manager are qualified to do their jobs.
Dr. Ahmed and his staff are very thorough and professional, they take as much time with you as they seem necessary and are never in a hurry (Judy and Eric come to mind). Dr. Ahmed will tell it to you straight, and I can really appreciate that. It took me a while to get an appointment, but it was well worth the wait. Now that I'm an official patient they schedule appointments for me when they think it's appropriate for my continuing care. Great team!
I totally agree with the Kayla who mentioned about long waits. This should never be! Is he loading up of patients, and does not realize that we are waiting a long time to see him.? Is he just looking at his income statement....I hope not.I was feeling sick around September and there was a 2 month wait. Never got in to see him. Here's my suggestions:1) If you want a detailed doctor, but do not mind waiting until you are critical, this is the doctor for you.2) If you do not mind a front office staff that seems to not have taken patient care 101, then this is the doctor for you.3) If you don't mind terse replies from some of his staff, then this is the doctor for you.So where am I going with this. I'm currently going to try and get in to see him. If and when I do, if he does not show some sort of caring about the LONG waits and the staff's lack of caring, I'll be looking for another doctor.
I have been a Type 1 Diabetic for 55 years. I am now 68 and on Medicare. I have been having problems controlling my blood sugars so I received an insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor. This would be very helpful if I could get a prescription for my Insulin (Novolog). I have been trying to get this RX for over a month. To make a long story short plus the writing space is limited, I have contacted Dr. Ahmed and his PA tried to help, I have been in contact with my Diabetic Nurse who has helped as much as she can, I have been in contact CVS pharmacy who has tried to help, I have been in contact with the hospital Patient Advocate who never followed up, and Administration who did nothing. In order for Medicare part B to pay I must have the proper paper work and a RX with the correct codes? I have been trying for over a week. It is now Saturday and I still do not have a RX. I have told them without my insulin I am dead but they don't care.
Terrible customer service. Not send prescriptions to pharmacy after 2 weeks of faxing from pharmacy and me personally going into the office asking for it and me calling several times.
Dr. Ahmed has been my PCP for many years. I'm extremely pleased with his choices for medications, advise & treatments. He explains everything, so that anyone can understand. He is highly educated & experienced. This gives me confidence to trust his recommendations & judgements concerning my health. He asks questions and answers mine. He doesn't seem beat around the Bush. He is upfront & honest, yet displays kindness. It is evident that he cares. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! K.L. DURAND 4/16/19
I love Dr. Ahmed. He is knowledgeable, experienced, and kind. He listens and helps. He has a great staff, too. I highly recommend him.
SO INCONSIDERATE, WISH I NEVER MET HIM. I'VE HAD LOTS OF DOCTOR'S SINCE I INJURED MY BACK ABOUT 6 YEARS AGO, AND IT'S SO FRUSTRATING JUST TO GET A PRESCRIPTION REFILL FOR MEDICATION THAT I NEED, THAT I'VE BEEN TAKING FOR YEARS. HIS OFFICE WILL SAY THEY SENT IT TO MY PHARMACY AND I CALL MY PHARMACY AND IT WAS NEVER SENT. THIS IS A MONTHLY PROBLEM, AND I DON'T FEEL LIKE DR AHMED REALLY CARES ABOUT ME AS A PATIENT. I'M FINDING ANOTHER DOCTOR AS SOON AS I CAN.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
