Absolutely worthless Doctor!!!Don't waste your time seeing this Doctor? After numerous calls to Dr. Salmons office by myself, Walgreens and Safeway pharmacys for prior authorization of prescriptions. Not one call was made to either pharmacy for my medications. My treatments will continue with the professional doctors of Phoenix.
Don't waste your time seeing this Doctor as I did. After numerous calls by myself, walgreens and safeway pharmacy I was not able to pick up my medications- a prior authorization was needed and this was too much trouble for Dr. Salmon and his staff to provide. This is a stuff-shirt doctor and only wants to treat patients that will bring in big bucks to him. Standard care like I need just isn't worth it to him. I have since been treated by a professional doctor in Phoenix. Doctors like Dr. Salmon are why people in the white mountains keep Doctors in the Phoenix area.
I am writing this review 6 years post-op regarding a surgery to treat a curvature precipitated by Peyronie's Disease. Dr Salmon was able to perform a several plications that corrected a downward curvature to a slightly upward curvature. I couldn't be happier with the results!
He’s the most considerate, knowledgeable, and genuine urologist. I’ve used him several times over the years and am always impressed with his excellent work. Look no further. He won’t disappoint!!
Great doctor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm writing this review 5 years after Dr. Salmon performed a very successful DaVinci robotic surgery on my husband due to prostate cancer. We recently celebrated 5 years cancer free! Dr. Salmon is a compassionate physician who deeply cares about his patients. When my husband and I were given the news that he had prostate cancer, Dr. Salmon gave us time to process it and research treatment options. He helped us to make an informed decision, answered all of our questions, and returned our calls when we thought of additional questions. We are so thankful that we chose Dr. Salmon as the urologist and surgeon to help us through that difficult time. My husband has no regrets and is glad to be living cancer free with minimal side effects from the surgery!
WE HAVE FOUND DR. SALMON TO BE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EFFICIENT IN HIS MEDICAL PRACTICE. HE IS FRIENDLY, KIND AND ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO HELP.
I went to Dr Salmon with prostate problems and he gave me three options. One, staying on the pill, which I have heard from friends doesn't always keep working forever. The next was a Roto Rueter procedure. Which doing a little research with friends again, there are also problems than can happen. I decided to go with the third option which was a new procedure called REZUM. Wow what a good way to take care of a prostate problem. It was just handled in the office, and a month later I am doing great. I would recommend REZUM to anyone having Prostate problems and Dr Salmon is the guy to go to...... He and his staff are great.
Dr. Salmon removed a kidney stone for me. I felt from the first time he spoke to me that he was irritated with me (for reasons unknown). Terrible feeling after meeting him before my surgery; to think I’ll be knocked out but in his care. Very condescending; terrible bedside manner. Won’t be going back for follow up, I’ll find a different urologist
I had my vasectomy done with Dr.Salmon. He's an amazing doctor. His medical assistant was also amazing. The wait was not long at all the medical assistant took me back right away. I would definitely recommend Dr.Salmon to anyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
