List of Vincent Furrey's Reviews
Dr. Furrey was very professional and knowledgeable and understanding the pain I was in he got me into a room and ordered tests and blood to be drawn. He treated me with compassion and I have never had that with an emergency room doctor before
My husband was at the ER at Verde Valley Medical in Cottonwood AZ for a knee injury. We were charged $1720.00 by Dr Vincente E. Furrey. My husband was not treated by Dr. Furrey, he was seen by the doctor's assistant and for only for a few minutes. Although our insurance company was contracted with the hospital, Dr. Furrey was not. Dr Furrey office billed our insurance company for the $1723. The insurance's allowed amount was $288.42 which still seemed high but much more reasonable. I contacted Dr. Furrey office to pay them $288.42 and I was told that they would not accept the allowed amount and wanted me to pay the entire $1720. because this doctor was not contracted with our insurance he could charge me the entire $1720. Most doctors working at the hospital ER will accept the insurance allowable amounts, even if they are not contracted with the insurance co. The other Drs. that treated my husband did accept the insurance allowed amount. THIS DOCTOR IS GREEDY!
Dr. Furrey was cold and vague when he oversaw my care at the Summit Regional Medical Center ER. I had never had heart palpitations with headache and fatigue before so it was scary. Before I was discharged, I asked him what caused it and he shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't know.." and simply walked away. What little time I interacted with him, it was as if I were a bother. Fortunately, I CAN READ and saw on the paperwork that I have an infection and my thyroid needs follow-up. Avoid him

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
