Desk staff was professional. Technician was AWESOME, as she does the lens sizing, type and ordering. Nursing staff was great, along with the anesthesiologist. No pain. Surgeon, Dr. Aviles, was AWESOME, thank God. This paranoid hypochondriac was very pleased with my experience there.....and just a few miles from home. Incredible.

While the doctor was friendly, professional and thorough, I only spent 8 minutes with him. The office is the problem, maybe he should have a little influence over the cluster mess that's been created there. It was like stepping back to 1990! I was told to expect to be there for 2 to 3 hours for my appointment "because they were short a doctor"... Mmmm, how about hiring someone who knows how to schedule instead of telling all of your patients that THEY will be inconvenienced by CEL's lack of motivation to fix their own problem? My surgeon sent orders to this particular establishment, so I sucked it up and took time off work to get the testing I need for upcoming brain surgery. 6 days later, the ordering doctor had not received the results, I called. They couldn't FIND my chart!! The excuse for this situation was that their computer systems had been hacked "a couple of months ago so they were doing everything manually" and had to FIND my records in order to send them - AGAIN, not my problem, how about hiring someone to fix your computer so that you can appropriately serve your patients? Finally, the test results were sent to the surgeon after a week of babysitting. I decided that maybe I need to get a copy of my own records - since these brainiacs will probably lose them again - I filled out the release form from the website, couldn't find an email or portal to submit, called and was told that they don't have a secure email for me to send the request to, I would have to fax it, bring it in or use USPS (don't even get me started on the USPS worthlessness...) Well, I'm an hour away from the office, I don't have a fax machine (who has a fax machine anymore?????) I will NOT be returning to this facility; I personally don't even think they should be in business

I waited 1.5 hours after my scheduled appointment time, and finally walked out minutes before the office closed for the day. Subsequently I was told that the average wait for Mr. Aviles is 3-4 hours --- with an appointment! And yet, when asked, staff refused to divulge this, simply saying that they didn't know how long a wait there would be. This is totally unacceptable, and shows a complete disdain for patients. I will NEVER give Mr. Aviles or Cochise Eye & Laser my business in the future.
