Was there last night I have a contusion kinda wish the dr would have gave me Iv Forgot to give me my Tylenol ehh
I was put on suicide watch from a lying Physician assistant. Chaz took me and my husband phone and car keys after we spoke about calling the police and my mom. We were touched and assaulted by Chaz and Security guard when I refused care/my right. Next I was forced to get completely naked in front of 3 male doctors as they all starred and watched me like some perverts. My husband was furious and I felt so violated, embarrassed and discussed. No one was allowed to visit or check on me. Female social worker in a wheelchair lied to my mom that she would give me the message to call her. She Never did. I am making a complaint with Joint Commission on Tuesday. All my patient rights, privacy and communication rights were stripped from me today. Never again! Chaz, the PA, the social worker and incompetent bad bedside manner healthcare workers all get Negative stars. This hospital has so many complaints on staff. The security guards walk around with blacks attack dogs which I have never seen at a hospital.
Nurses and doctors actually show the compassion for the patients
I want to share something that happened to me yesterday at the hospital. This shows everything that is wrong with our mental health system, and the treatment of those with mental illnesses. When I was admitted I shared some things with the dr. He said he wanted me to get a psych evaluation for my anxiety. It has been pretty bad lately, to the point it is affecting me socially. He was very kind but wanted to see if they could get me some relief until I went through intake at an outpatient facility. Fast forward to thr morning. A new dr soent 2.5 seconds with me and decided that I didn't need the psych evaluation. I then talked to my nurse, while crying and divulging some if the trauma I have been through, begging to keep the psych evaluation. My mom talked to the new dr as well. He looked at me, while LAUGHING, and said.."you aren't suicidal are you?" Had I been, I would not have told him being asked that way. No, I was not suicidal, but I do have a past of self harm. My panic attacks are horrible. My anxiety is so bad that my body acts like it is having a STROKE! But this dr felt it was laughable that I felt I needed help. Banner Boswell and Dr Shahla should be ashamed of how this was handled. I was pushed out instead of keeping me another. couple hours to get me some much needed help. I was sent home feeling even worse because of how I was treated. How can we break the stigma when health professionals won't listen to those who are suffering!?! We need to break the stigma and doctors need to get training on how to handle those with mental illnesses! #breakthestigma #sexualassaultsurvivor #domesticviolencesurvivor #traumasurvivor #PTSD
Review written by my husband - I had surgery at Boswell a few weeks ago and had to spend the night there recovering. My wife and I were very pleased with everyone who we met at Boswell, from the volunteer who greeted us, the admin person who checked us in, the pre-op staff, the surgery staff, and all the nurses who attended to us while recovering. They were all friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. I'm a perfectionist and not easy to please, so my 5-star rating says a lot about my experience at Boswell. I had some anxiety prior to the surgery, and although it's been over 2 weeks, I'm still amazed at how comfortable the staff made me feel throughout my experience at Boswell. Exceptional service and care by an exceptional staff.
Had hip replacement surgery! I was treated like a rockstar. Everyone on staff were friendly and accessible when I had concerns.
Emergency Department was fast, efficient, thorough, and staff was friendly. We didn’t have to wait hours for decisions and diagnosis. Floor nurses and staff also wonderful and caring.
Awesome People Caring for People!!! Amazed at the Army of Staff at this Hospital and in the ER!!! Being a frequent flyer for a friend fighting throat cancer and each visit has been really fast and the Nurses are Too Notch!!! Appreciate them and Praying for them!!!
Have had 4 different stays since first of year. Every stay was great! All staff very caring and professional. Last stay not so much. Bright side outstanding nurse marilee overnight went through my diagnosis insured comfort and gave me a breathing exerciser. Food was all ok except this stay did not deliver my dinner 2 nights in a row. House Dr Kahn prescribed unnecessary prescriptions cost me $250

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
