Dr. Macherla was recommended to do my thoracic surgery. He explained exactly what was going to be done. I found him very caring and attentive. My breathing has much improved and I am grateful.

Dr Murali Macherla is a very careing doctor .He answer all our questions take all the time we need . My husband feels much better after his surgery the 15th of this month. So glad I found him for my husband.

I credit Dr. Macherla with saving my life. I experience symptoms consistent with a dissecting aortic aneurysm and surgery was scheduled. The surgery was successful although a small portion of the aneurysm was not repaired. This was surgically corrected with a second surgical intervention later in the next year. The second surgery was successful as well. During my recovery at home from the second surgery the incision became infected and another hospitalization with surgery was necessary. I recovered from this unfortunate mishap. However because a left groin approach was repeatedly used, circulation to my left leg became affected which led to an endarterectomy of the left femoral artery. I have recovered despite the complexity of this surgery. Dr. Macherla has been quite attentive to my care and demonstrated competence in the management of my condition. November 2020

Dr. Macherla, as a Vascular surgeon, is excellent. He did three surgeries on me with excellent results. He is very methodical and caring, easy to work with. His office staff is also easy to work with. Thank you. Ed - Surprise, AZ Aug. 7, 2020.

Very disappointing, I was referred to Dr. Macherla because he was the Thoracis expert. He never examined me. It seems he was more interested in my thyroid problem. So he wrote several order and told me to get all the tests done. His staff was not experienced or trained how to assist me. I arrived at one hospital at 6am for a test and the hospital staff told me they contacted Dr. Macherla informed them they would not be able to do the test. Well no one called me. Then almost one year later the Dr. Macherla send me a bill for $90.00 They should have paid me, for all the running around, the gas, aggravation and my time. Would never go to this office or this doctor.

A warning to all considering having surgery performed by this man. He is careless and preys on older adults. His bedside manner, or lack thereof, is pitiful. You should really search him before agreeing to undergo surgery with him in the room. He will persuade and convince patients to proceed with surgeries they are not fit to have. My advice is to seek out another surgeon because your life depends on it.
