In 2015 Dr. Roberts removed my left Kidney. In 2018 I got Bladder Cancer in my right Kidney. He said to me, we have to take out your remaining Kidney and go on Dialysis! He said there was nothing he could do. I said I want a second opinion. I went to Mayo Clinic. I still have my right Kidney!!! Four times, Mayo removed Malignant tumors! I would never recommend a Dr. who is 30 years behind the Cancer treatments. Never take his word for his diagnosis.
I've seen this dr 3 times now, first one was good and appropriate. Listened to the issues. Wanted to push meds. 3rd time I waited nearly an hour to see him. Seemed totally tired, disinterested, never apologised for keeping me waiting, and didn't want to hear 5 month of history/update. Just said 'we don't know the reason, but it's your bladder getting older'. Rec a physical treatment for 12 weeks. I've tried to schedule 3 times now, have yet to get it done, staff doesn't call back. Incompetent staff. I have no faith in this doc. NOT going back.
Impossible to communicate with, get prescription refills, talk to someone. They don't answer the phone.
First appointment we waited over 45 minutes to find out they didn’t have the results from an MRI. Second appointment was more than 45 minutes ago and we’re still waiting and we’re told there are still 4 people ahead of us. No explanation and no apology. We will probably look for another doctor.
Excellent staff! Dr. Roberts is a compassionate urologist!
Just awful. Doesn't even deserve a star. What a horrible human being and doctor. Please do not see him under any circumstances
I have been seeing Dr. Roberts for several years now. Top notch, decent guy. He explains all the options and lets you decide. Very personable and extremely competent. His PA is also very good. Just a great team that I am grateful for.
I have been seeing Dr. Roberts since shortly after he arrived in the Valley. After going through 3 urologists since 1999 I decided to try Dr Roberts and NEVER looked back. Since around 2003-04(?) He has performed numerous procedures in the office and is in/out quickly without pain! He spends as much time as necessary to answer questions. He performed a TURP with an overnight stay and the results were Exceptional with very minimum bleeding. I have been to Scottsdale Mayo but Dr Roberts is simply the Best as far as I'm concerned. He now has a PA named Tiffany who is also very through and answers all questions. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Roberts!
Dr. Roberts always takes time to listen and then explain all the options. He is also very personable and very competent. His PA is also very good. A great team. Highly recommended.
Dr. Roberts was incredible. I had gone to two Urologists before....the second one wanted to perform a prostectomy, as I was having incredible challenges going to the bathroom. Dr. Roberts put me on a catheter for more than a week before the procedure....then he did a Green Light Laser, the other doctors couldn't do. It worked great and I thank him quite often to myself.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
