Jason Mussman's Online Review Report Card

I was scheduled to have a cyst removed behind my ear. Dr. Mussman came in and did not even come around to my face to introduce himself or even introduce himself while he was behind me prepping to remove the cyst from my ear. I was lying on my side to have the cyst removed. He just asked his PA " How many cysts do we have to remove?" When procedure was over he didn't ask me how I felt if I had any questions just walked out of the surgery room. I was very disappointed because the rest of his staff is so personable and caring.

I had a breast augmentation in 2009, since then I've had 2 more children and gained and lost 80 pounds...twice! I went to Dr. Mussman for a lift and implant replacement from my over 600 cc saline to 450 silicone. I had my surgery Friday. Today is Tuesday. I had almost no discomfort. I truly would have been fine with just Tylenol starting Saturday morning. But the real reason I'm writing this review is to say that I can't stop looking in the mirror. I thought I loved my implants before but the way they look now is unbelievable. The symmetry is impeccable. I can't get over how flawless they look after 4 days post op. His staff is so sweet and nurturing. I don't wake up from anesthesia well, I get very sick. Most nurses in the past get annoyed with me but his team was patient and did everything they could to try and help me feel better. I love the results, he far exceeded what I expected could be done and I cannot wait to see how they continue to improve over the next several weeks. Thank you!

If I could rate zero stars (or negative stars), I would. Dr Mussman and his staff are incompeten, careless, cruel, and arrogant. (He looks like an aging werewolf - one not aging well! - and that's essentially what he is.). There is almost surely something going on between him and his medical assistant that distracts them from procedures and patien care. Run far away as fast as you can before they have a chance to damage you.

Mussman & staff are the WORST. I f I could rate zero stars (or negative stars), I would. His surgery made my facial/nerve damage worse, not better. Dr Mussman and his staff are incompeten, careless, cruel, and arrogant. (He looks like an aging werewolf - one not aging well! - and that's essentially what he is.). There is almost surely something going on between him and his medical assistant that distracts them from procedures and patien care. Run far away as fast as you can before they have a chance to damage you.

I hope they see this, please start posting before and after of your work. Not just your office and the doctor!

Worst doctors office visit I’ve had in my entire life. Dr. Mussman seemed very unhappy and unwelcoming the entire visit. I had a skin lesion removed and then I was transferred to a different room with the wound completely open and exposed. Then when the subject of payment was brought up I told him what his billing department told me prior to the visit and Dr. Mussman threw a huge fit in front of me and his MA who was in the room with us for my examination. He demanded that his MA go and set billing straight because he “doesn’t appreciate walking into a room with patients expecting free service” I understand that this is very much a business but it was clear to me that his priority first and foremost is money. He was absolutely rude and cold the entire time, Dr. Mussman seems like a very unhappy person and he doesn’t seem to handle certain situations in the most professional manner, especially for a doctor. I will never return to this office. I will never let him touch me. Some doctors just shouldn’t be doctors

Terrible experience. Was referred by my pcp and physical therapist to see a plastic surgeon. Dr. Mussman has no intentions of helping with the issues that I have. The first thing he asks when he walks in the room is “Do you have a hernia?” I told Dr. Mussman that I have not been told I have a hernia but I do have Diastasis Recti. Well that’s a hernia and insurance will only cover surgery if you have a hernia. So your insurance won’t cover your surgery. When he said that I was completely confused because he just contradicted himself. From my experience he was every bit opposite then how he is written about on Regency’s website. Don’t waist your time cause unless you have some amazing hernia he is not the doctor for you. According to his profile repairing hernia is the only enjoyment he gets from doing surgery. Which makes sense cause that’s all I understood from my time wasted in his office.

I can’t say enough about how great Dr Mussman is. I was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma and was lucky enough to be referred to him by my dermatologist. Because it was stage 4, a nuclear medicine test was required to pinpoint the nearest lymph node. Dr Mussman removed the lymph node near my ear, then surgically removed the melanoma spot on my nose, used a flap of skin from the incision near the lymph node removal and stitched me up. I was expecting to look like Frankenstein. Due to the skill of Dr Mussman, the site looked surprisingly good. I had this done the week of Christmas and it is now early April and it looks great. Dr Mussman is very skilled, caring, and seems like a perfectionist, which is what you want in a plastic surgeon. Thank you Dr Mussman for everything - you are the best!

Don’t go Regency Dermatology. I had 3 facial moles removed and I am left disfigured. Horrible horrible experience
